mic sounds fine. my rarest games i have are the donkey kong competition tournament cartridge for snes, earthbound boxed and sealed for snes. i also have a grey cartridge of the Nintendo World Championships 1990. wish i had the golden one
I have a copy of Burning Rangers for the Sega Saturn, this has to be my rarest video game in my collection. It usually goes for 80 to 100 dollars, and I managed to get it for about 60.
Hey bud...the mic sounds great. I know it adds the bass to your voice but that's normal. Better mics pick up your true sound. You have a deep voice. People have to deal with it. Or pull the mic away from your face a little more. Something tells me the mic will pick up your voice from anywhere. But it sounds great!
What kind of Micropjone is that? I'm planning on doing game videos with the sound from the games and my voice blended in with it (What you do), but I don't know what kind of microphone can do that.
The one I just got is pretty expensive but the one I used to use was like a cheap 10 dollar mic that was not very good at all. Also the mic doesn't allow the sounds to blend I use Vegas to turn the volume down on the game sounds so you can still hear them as well as my commentary.
The one game that strikes me as overly priced is Earthbound. The game can go anywhere from as low as $25 for just the cartridge for a complete mint unopened version goes for $300-400. If you happen to get one with the Mach Pizza Air Freshener, then that jumps immensely to $750-$1,000. I saw on ebay that the Mach Pizza Air Freshener went for $1,000 alone.
Yeah thats a little ridiculous I have a Earthbound cart as well as the import with box book and game but I wouldn't pay 300 for basicly the box and book.
Atlus games always seem to increase in value as the years go on. I've got a tight grip on Persona and Persona 2!! Dragon Force for the saturn is another game that goes for a ton. Wish I had that one for my saturn collection.
My copy of Symphony of the Night might not be an original issued version(Best of..is what I have) but it was hard to even find that in my town. Sure I payed for what basically what Ebay would priced as used(and indeed it is a used copy due to it was at a store called Gamers and nothing was too damaged other than a little wear from use), but just a mint version of even a Best of is currently going for $50. I'm happy I only payed about half that.
I have an original copy of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.Cost me about $70, but it was well worth adding it.I picked up Breath of Fire 4 for $40, and Legend of Mana for $50 or so.I also have Alundra, Monsterseed, and a few non-rare games for PS1.A lot of the games that I played as a teen, for around $40, are now in the hundreds of dollars, and it makes me feel old as sin.
I don't think I really understand the draw of collecting things...
The items may be rare/valuable, but does a collector ever intend on parting with them? Seems like a justified reason of acquiring a lot of "stuff" that ends up sitting around never being used.
I collect some games, Mostly just the ones that I always loved, I actually have a Mint copy of Panzer Dragoon on the Saturn. I'm pretty proud of that.
And as far as expensive goes, it would be that one. But my favorite one I have would be my Super Mario RPG for SNES.
Thanks I am still messing with it which is half the fun of getting a new electronic. I wish I had kept the boxes of my snes games as a kid but I was one of those that ripped open the box like a stupid kid lol I just wanted to play the game.

... What? You turn down the sound on your game so you can hear yourself talking? Well how do you get yourself talking in there in the first place?!

Snatcher! That's a pretty well valued game as well as Ducktales 2, but you might know that one.
ClairChocobo 3 years ago
Yeah Snatcher goes for a ton I bet if it wasn't Hideo Kojima's game it wouldn't go for nearly as much.

Anything Atlus makes is slobbered all over by Atlus fanboys. Atlus is the new square.

I had 1000 swords for PC.
It was kinda intresting but back then I didn't understand the whole concept of the game which why I kept loosing all the time.
and in finland Final Fantasy 6 for SNES goes for 100 euros which does 139 dollars.
If I'd win in a lottery I'd buy it away right away.
Best game in my collection? Terranigma.
New mic seems to make your voice kinda fat, adds extra bass in to it.
Bastiest 3 years ago
Terranigma's an awesome game. Shame it never came stateside.

I agree with the mic adding extra bass I am trying to fix that.

My friend is having some SNES games, I think some of them are quite valuable, some also rare (at least here).

Haha, You sound like me. I actually kept one box, and the booklet! It was Megaman X. Which isn't really rare at all sadly, but i'm happy for it. xD
And about the Mic, I completely understand. It's like with me and my LP's, Trying to get Camstudio to Cooperate. Also my Mic shorting out of me.
