  • You have beautiful eyes...

I really don't know how I got here, what are you talking about,

but I still wached your video.

    Hi hi! :)

  • Do you know if the old shadesticks can be recycled?

  • Can you b2m empty shadestick containers and also pigment sample jars?

  • @Shannyface87 shadestick containers count, but pigment samples do not.

  • i dont remember if you said this but can you bring back the boxes

    ??

  • Can you back 2 mac a compact foundation container if the mirror is broken?

  • do you have to return the container in the box it came in or just the container

  • ure so sweet, honest and open-minded! i love u and ur language manner!:))

  • i'm french but i talk a little english , i want to ask you can i take a lipgloss and not a lipstick when i do a back 2 mac?

  • Do they take OLDER packaging?

  • Do they take OLDER packaging?

  • what about plush lash? please respond! i have 5, and i want to send them in, adding plush lash. :)

  • Does blacktrack fluidline count?? The eyeliner is in a glass container but the cap is plastic soo??haha

  •  thanks for this. I've just looked on the back of my 2 mineralize skinfinishes and neither have the recycle logo. Arghhhh. That's the 2 empties I was planning on taking with my 4 empties! Wonder why the MSFs aren't allowed!??? They're the same packaging as blushes aren't they!? Thank u for the great vid.

  • @khoshgeli Actually, I should make a correction to this video. I don't think B2M is EXCLUSIVE to the ones with the recycle logo. You should definitely keep those empties and bring them into the store with you next time to ask!! :)

  • can you back to mac quads and does it need to have the pans in it

  • does everymac store do back to mac?

  • @MsToriaa yes

  • @MsToriaa Most freestanding MAC and MAC Pro stores participate (not department store MAC counters). You can call ahead and ask your local MAC to see if they accept B2M :)

  • Wow thanks! This learned me lots of stuff about B2m! and Im so happy that theyre doing it in Canada too, which I wasnt sure.

  • thanks! that was really helpfull!

  • Thanks for this video! It helped ALOT. I am still unsure about one thing though. If you buy an eyeshadow which is a palette refill, which parts do you take back? Do you have to take the actual pan inside the packaging or just literally the packaging which it comes in? Please anyone help!

  • @PinkFreeze133 I believe if you buy the Pro palette refills, you can still take the empty pan back to the store for B2M...but you should call your local MAC store and verify this!

  • Thank you, this really helps!

  • can i back 2 mac with the pan still in it because i dont want to depot my shadows?so if i have like 6 containers that i didnt depot can i still back 2 mac??

  • @babyash707 Of course! You can definitely bring back the containers with the pan in them for B2M :)

  • thank u! this really helped!

  • can u get a free eyeshadow rather than a lipstick?

  • @PnkFlower01 you can get a shadow gloss or lipstick from permanent line but these choices are only at a mac store.

  • Are you Chinese or Korean?

  • How would u know if ur makeup expired? Like eyeshadows, blushes. Do they have expiration dates on them?

  • @kaitolentino On most cosmetics packaging, there should be a symbol with a little jar or container. Inside that jar symbol will be a number, like 3mo, 6mo, etc. So your product should not be used after that amount of time from the date you open it.

  • Hi can u return limited edition lipsticks?

  • @kaitolentino Yes, you can return limited edition packaging for B2M :)

  • i was one of those who already knew about it but had been wondering for a while now if we can back to mac the empty pro palette refill pans....that was good to know you can! because you can also back to mac an empty palette of quad (which, i mean, kind of defeats the purpose of buying refills to same money) but i guess if you no longer like using a palette...thanks so much for this video!

  • I think i saw you at sfu before

or maybe its just me seeing things

  • @lkjdude Yep, you probably did see me :)

  • right now they have the cyndi lipstick, can I get that lipstick for the B2m program?

  • @serenejulep no...all viva glam products have to be purchased since the proceeds go to fight AIDS..same goes for limited edition lipsticks...all B2M swaps have to be for permanent colors

  • i dont use any of those things but i really enjoyed watching your video thank you very much keep the good work ......

  • what about mascara tubes? can you back to mac those? cuz they dont have the B2M symbol, but on the website its listed as one of the ones you can B2M im not sure if you can B2M mascara tubes at your local MAC store tho...

  • @OREOzzfOevah yes I believe you can for these too...

  • @OREOzzfOevah Yes, you should be able to B2M mascara tubes as well.

  • Can u back 2 Mac a mineralize skin finish natural container?

  • @sillyyoselyn yes! definitely!

  • @sillyyoselyn Yes, you should be able to! Double check with your local MAC store to make sure :)

  • @sillyyoselyn Yes, you should be able to! Double check with your local MAC store to make sure :)

  • I just found your channel! Are you from Canada?? I am too! Can you return make up remover containers as part of back to mac??

  • @swifterfan Yes, I'm from Canada! :) I believe those are also part of the B2M program, but you should call your local MAC store ahead of time just to double check :)

  • thanks so much this was really helpful :)

  • do they accept holiday palettes with 6 e/s, holiday pigments, msf's, and limited edition lipsticks? thanks alot! <3

  • what is you buy empty pan and you give it bake and say it was a pan shadow

  • @TheLava35 the mac ones are labeled on the bottom and have a specific magnet size too...and not every empty pan feel/looks the same when it is empty

  • Just so everyone knows they are no longer taking the pro pan refills at any mac. I went to a counter and they said try a store and i was told the same thing. Also that your only able to get an eyeshadow, lipstick, or lipglass. Just letting people know .

  • Great video but I just wanted to say that u can return the viva glam lipsticks

  • so for the eyeshadow with only the pan do you bring the bag it comes in to back to mac or need the pan to be in the bag

  • how about mascara tube ?

  • Speaking of back to Mac...... I knoe you have to keep the box but do you have to keep the container??

  • I really hope my Mac store takes them without the pans in them, because I reallty don't want to go out and buy pans just for it. I'm sorta middle class so a free product every 6 items really helps. (The way I depot macs it so the piece you snap out when you depot it, can go back in and look like it hasn't been messed, except it's messing the shadow) The video I used for the method I depot is "How to NEATLY Depot MAC Eyeshadow and still be able to BACK-to-MAC it" by PrettyTips.

  • Im pretty sure that thoes arrows juss mean you can recycle them. If that makes any sense. Meaning all the packaging has thoes arrows.

  • @almostfamous95 This symbol is actually called the "Green Dot" and simply means that the manufacturer complies with certain European waste management legislation. It does not necessarily mean the package can be recycled, or that items without this symbol cannot be recycled. HOWEVER, I have found that most products with this symbol ARE eligible for the B2M program. I hope this helps! :)

  • do you have to wash out your lipglass or mascara tubes before you return them?

and also what color are you wearing on your nails?

  • can you depot the eyeshadows and then when you hit pan put the pan back in the container?

  • @iheartcargo Sure, absolutely :) Though I recommend you check with your local MAC store to see if they accept this, just in case.

  • can you return everything to a counter? because i don't have a store near me!

  • super helpfull girlie :)!

  • If you call us americans like your not one are you canadian?

  • @wolfblood476 Yes, I am Canadian.

  • i got a sample lipstick thats white (packaging) and it came with no box, so do i still give it back? thanks (: this vid really helped (:

  • Can you back to mac limited edition packaging?

  • can mascaras go back to mac?

  • @rocinemz Yes, mascara tubes are included in B2M.

  • this helped so much thanks!

  • that arrow sign is just a recycling sign , for recycling in general, just mac, so anyone watching i would defo double check with your local mac :)

  • what about those sterile MAC jars that they put pigment samples in?? can we take those back

  • what about the fix + bottle?

  • Great video. Thanks for explaining the B2M program in detail.

  • do the eyeliners count like the tecknol liners?

  • Very helpful! Thank you! :)

  • Do the MAC Fragrance spray containers count for B2M? :]

  • does it count if the little glass part of an eyeshadow or blush popped out or if you lost a lipgloss top?

  • Do you have to have the box to bring it back?

  • @tdilisi No, you do not have to have the box/packaging, but the container that holds the product must be included!

  • Ok sry you probly said this a million times...but I see the tiny symbol on a lot of items like aveda and o.p.I. Nail polishes. When you bac to mac does to have to be a mac product? And what if not what does that symbol mean for those products?? :)

  • @homieGgirl This symbol is actually called the "Green Dot" and simply means that the manufacturer complies with certain European waste management legislation. It does not necessarily mean the package can be recycled, or that items without this symbol cannot be recycled. HOWEVER, I have found that most products with this symbol ARE eligible for the B2M program.

  • I thought the arrows just meant you could recycle it in general. Can you really return just the pans? Have you done that? I thought only the eyeshadow cases can be returned.

  • @actingchick23 This symbol is actually called the "Green Dot" and simply means that the manufacturer complies with certain European waste management legislation. It does not necessarily mean the package can be recycled, or that items without this symbol cannot be recycled. HOWEVER, I have found that most products with this symbol ARE eligible for the B2M program.

  • Does the product have to have the label at the bottom in order to b2m it?

  • @Giangshutup No, generally you can look for the "Back 2 MAC" stamp, or you can call your local MAC store to ask if they accept a certain type of packaging :)

  • I live in Ontario and have to drive 40 mins to get to the MAC store so how do I know of I can bring in depoted eyeshadows without the tin??

  • You can look up the phone number of that MAC store online and give them a call before you make the trip :) Good luck!

  • Can I return Dazzleglasses.?

  • ya u can! anything but mascara samples or small sample things i think :)

  • Yes, MAC accepts Dazzleglass packaging for B2M :)

  • Do mac sample mascaras qualify for the back to mac? They do not have that arrow thing on the tube, but I'm hoping this is an exception, since I have two:)

  • unfortunately no they don't count :(

  • Sample sized products do not qualify for B2M. :(

  • you should double check if your MAC store accepts the false eyelash containers because mine doesnt.

    just a heads up :)

and in addition to what to pick for your free product you can get the mineral eyeshadows which are more expensive then the regular.

  • Thanks for the tip! Yes, getting mineral eyeshadows or the special lip glosses (Dazzleglass, Cremesheen, etc.) is a better deal than getting just a lipstick or eye shadow. Thanks for sharing!

  • very very very very helpful, thanks :)

  • can you b2m brush cleanner & fix plus packaging!?!

  • yes... If you look on the back of the bottles you'll see the little recycling sign!

  • Yes, those items do qualify for B2M!

  • One thing to do with those depotted eyeshadows is just replace the pan with another one. You can buy packs of them at Coastal Scents, and they fit perfectly.

  • This is a great tip! Thanks!

  • I threw away the box for my Mac false lashes! Damn! :(

  • This was very helpfull .x

  • can you return shadestick containers?

  • Yes, these qualify for B2M :)

  • Cool, I didnt know about this!

  • You helped me so much! THANK YOU!!!!

  • i really hope that my mac accepts eyeshadow containers w/o the pan. cuz i hav 5 eyeshadows that i depotted

and can you back to mac empty bronzer compact?

  • You can always buy empty tins online to put back into the containers. They're fairly cheap :)

  • Thanks so much for this video! Very helpful!

  • thanks so much! i keep on hearing people talk about this in other videos but they never said what it was so i have been so confused! haha

  • Nice vid.!! Very helpful and useful.!! =) But I was wondering... I heard that u can B2M the MAC cleanser bottles... do u know if its true?... Thanxs.!! =)

  • Yes, these qualify for B2M :)

  • hey erica! do you know if the MAC pressed powder containers can be used for the back to mac program? they don't have a recyle sign on the back but in your vid some products didn't have the sign either..

  • you know the piece of plastic that holds the pan that you pop out at the very beginning.

i threw all of mine out because i just assumed that wasn't what they wanted.

    did i just screw myself?

  • Can you the pan back in the eyeshadow container when you hit pan and then back to mac it?

  • Of course! It should be fine, but best to double check with your local MAC :)

  • omg cool thanks so much!! very helpful!!! =)

  • You're very welcome!! Thanks for watching!!! I'm so glad this was helpful...I never knew about B2M when I first started buying MAC products (actually for a while after I started) haha

  • if you exchange a pallete from a collection or had more than one colour in it

is it is just 1 or more ?

  • I believe a palette from a collection only counts as 1 item, unfortunately. You can call MAC customer service or ask them in store to verify. Good luck!

  • well the small size fiz+ bottle has got the symbol of recycling on it..so i guess i should give it a try..!and i didnt get for free..i got it for three bucks here in canada at a warehouse sale!!

  • Hmmm ya then give it a try!! Maybe it will work :D Good luck!

  • can u back to mac at anytime? or are there like specific dates where you have to do it?

  • You should be able to do it anytime :)

  • does the sample size fix + bottle counts in B2M???

  • I've never seen a sample size fix+ bottle...but my first impression would be that it does not qualify for B2M. Did you receive the bottle as a sample in store? Because any sample packaging would not count (since you get it for free).

Although, if you want to be friendly to the environment, you could probably still bring the packaging in for recycling if you don't plan to reuse it yourself (without getting anything in return).

  • so extremely helpful!!

thanks so much for that!!! ^^

  • I'm so glad it helped!! Thanks for watching :D

  • I have an eyeshadow I want to B2M..did they chage the policy and wnt us to bring the Pan as well. Because I depoted all my shadows into pallets

  • Ya, some MAC locations require the metal pan to be returned as part of the eyeshadow pot. If you're lucky, some places don't mind if you've depotted your eyeshadow :)

  • finally learned the back to mac program, thank you

  • I'm glad I could help! Thanks for watching ^^

  • great video! :)

  • thanks so much for your support!! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

  • amazinn xD i def learned somethin new

  • hehe I'm so glad!! I keep learning more and more things about B2M that surprise me every time haha :)

  • thank you for the info hun :)
