Ok... In just about every summit review, i hear the same dumb cliche "not really a crawler, but not really a basher" blah blah blah. I've seen quite a bit of running videos and a few first hand experiences of seeing it in action. As a stock truck, it crawls and bashes better than most "RTR" trucks out the box that are exclusively "crawlers" or "bashers", simply because it is so well advancely built and manufactured. Agree or disagree?

I am thinking of buying a Summit, I was wondering if there are any susspention upgrades, to make it higher. And how slow is the low-range gear box? I want to go mountain climbing with it and maybe take on some snow. Are there better tires to buy with more grip on loose surfaces ect. ect. Please let me know. I am really interested.

I'm looking into get into racing in the near future. I've been looking at the 1/10 brushlessE-Revo and was wondering if I could put an E-Revo body and wheels on this beast. I really like the wider stance and the wheel nuts. Buying this truck could save me a good bit of coin over the brushless/mamba monster which runs about $730(before sales tax. what do you think good idea. I have a 1/16 summit w/mini E-Revo body. Totally awesome

I am just getting into these RC bashing trucks. I just picked up a 1/10 scale Traxxas Summit and did not realize that it does not come with a charger like the T-Slash. What charger do you recommend with this? Can I use the EZ- Peak charger or do I need other accessories to charge the two batteries for this truck?

I have a Traxxas Summit and i think it is a great truck. I think you will have a great time driving this monster. I read on your box that is was about $600 i think i got ripped off because i got mine for $800 not including battery or charger. I have had my Summit for quiet some time so i know a fair bit about the truck and a bit about traxxas.

So what's the run time with the stock batteries they give you, also is the ride height ajustable and if so how cause i run a slash and i noticed the shocks are tucked away inside the summit.

@StopTrippin666 we just ran it with lipo's so I can't really say but its still pretty good. Yes you can adjust the ride height the same way

@traxxasmaniac123 yeah for the most part it is pretty powerful... I tell people that it will run out of traction before it runs out of power. Usually the first things to go are the the diff out puts or the C/V joints on the shafts because of the power...The Titan 775 isnt a bad motor stock but people like to swap them for Mamba Monsters or even 14.4v DeWalt motors lol
