Dude when you poke check you should try just flicking your wrist so it flys out instead of bringing your arm back and then going for it. It saves you time because when you bring your arm back it might take you out of the play a bit.

Hey, nice moves kid. I like those pad saves. I played goalie in the AHL for 12 years. My advice to you is to stay up a little more, because it looks like you're leaving a bit to much top shelf. Reply to this and tell me how it works for you. You're a good goalie though kid.

Here's some tips for the 5-hole. If you're staying up to protect the top shelve's then yes the 5-hole will be open alot, but what I did when I played was use the blocker to protect the 5-hole. Another choice is to just get down real fast with the pads, but the blocker is the better thing to use at times I think. Reply to this.

It's sort of like bending down and then putting your blocker on the ice to cover the 5-hole. That's not my profile by the way it's the managers profile. Feel free to ask me any questions about goalie any time though.

I know it's a little confusing, but when you get the hang of it it really works. What I'm saying is when your bent over the 5-hole opens up more and you put the blocker straight up on the ice. The pads will be to your left and right to protect the net though.
