  • i love how Nick always sounded like he was trying to murder the drumset. That sound was so amazing.

  • @rampage222555 Gar>Nick. Sorry.

  • @9CRonaldo8Kaka what exactly drove you to make that comment...

  • @rampage222555 IDK BRO XD Just came out of me, I'm pissed about how every comment on youtube (not talking bout yours) is "NICK IS BEST DRUMMER NICK THIS NICK THAT". He's just not.

  • Best Megadeth song ever....say the dead shall rise...again....

  • Comment removed

  • Man, you guys gotta let the fighting go.....this was a great performance!! Don't much care about who is better at what....this kicked ass!!

  • Why is Marty playing one of Dave Mustaines Flying V's ????

  • @breeny225 what do u mean "dave mustaine's guitar" ? is marty's guitar men what are you saying?

  • @breeny225 He isn't, he is playing a Jackson Rhoads. Dave played the King V model. Marty is famous for the Kelly model, he rarely used the Rhoads.

  • @breeny225 That's a Rhoads not a King V, Mustaine always played King V's after his Bc Rich period, the only time you kinda see him with a Rhoads is in the video of In My Darkest Hour, that little blue one that appears a couple of times and i'm not even shure if that's a Rhodas or King V, (and that Jackson "firebird" custom that he uses in Trust's video was the only one that he used that wasn't a V in jackson) Marty had a couple of Rhoads in that time, but after he used only Kellys. (in jackson)

  • Mustaine's Deans are cool, but nothing beats the old King V.

  • Gracias Megadeth por esta música tan buena!!!

  • Love Marty and Nick Menza's playing in this song.

  • Esta época!!...la mas adicta, me gusta!

  • Megadeth is Dave Mustaine, Marty Friedman, Dave Ellefson and Nick Menza.

  • @MikeGuitar999 Well actually your wrong. Megadeth is Dave Mustaine is the only member who has been there from the beginning to present. David is a big part of it but he isn't even Megadeth because he was gone for that period of time.

  • @ChrisBroderickFan27 Yeah! you are right Dave Mustaine is Megadeth... but they just sound different, with the different members.. not bad but a little bit different if you compare the new songs with the 80s and 90s songs.. you'll feel the difference.. they still have new kick ass songs though.. Chris Broderick is awesome!.

  • @MikeGuitar999 Yeah, Broderick is the only worthy successor to Marty..

  • Marty wasnt best Megadeth guitarrist, it was Chris Poland, why nobody gives him credit for playing in Megadeth faster albums? lol

  • @TheRagedeth So by your words i assume you say faster = better? Chris Polands were great, his solos can't be better, but i think Marty's solos are more technichal and fit perfectly at the albums he worked on. But i respect your opinion, Poland's solos are very close-by to Marty's.

  • @TheRagedeth Daves the best Megadeth guitarist since he wrote all this great music and solo breaks for whoever lead guitarist they have at the time to solo over. As far as Megadeths best LEAD guitarist goes, fuck who knows. Poland was more Jazz based where as Marty was more orchestral.

  • @TheRagedeth so, Faster = Better? yeah, right mate, Poland is a fucking beast, imo he was the 2 best guitarrist in Megadeth, we all give him credit for what he did on KIMG and Peace Sells, but to me Marty was the best in Megadeth, but i respect your opinion.

  • Marty and Dave's dual solo blew my fucking mind man.

  • pedazo de tema

  • megadeth! Can´t stop them, cant eat them, and you can´t help loving you self for be a fan!

  • @trash4ever1 so true! I love myself for being a megadeth fan, I'm a fan of other things too but nothing compares.

  • excellent drums

  • Dave kicks hammet's ass.... and he is the second guitar. Nothing more to say.

  • @Hostiledtilldeath And he writes everything.

  • It's actually easier to understand the lyrics in this live version :-) than the studio version...

  • ashit in your mouth! stop fight okay . both Megadeth and Metallica are the best metal band.

  • Holy shit these solos are perfect!

  • this is fucking flawless, im blacking out, im guessing this is on that arsenal box set, if so im fucking buying it

  • @BBOZ83 nope, is on the warchest box set.

  • @01020498 thats what i meant, but the warchest has 4 songs cut out of the performance, theres bootlegs of the entire show

  • Comment removed

  • For anyone has hasnt seen Marty Friedman live before, i would totally reccommend it!!! i watched that guy whale on a guitar for 2 hours at the underworld pub in london back in April, and hes just fucking incredible, i saw the genius behind the tornado of souls solo actually play it, best gig i've ever been to - and thats saying something cause i was at sonisphere knebworth this year aswell

  • Come on dave. We know u have a voice more vocal less instruments. And stage presence

  • This song melts my brain every time I listen to it. Dave is the master riffster, and Master soloist.

  • Killer song!

  • dave is in reptilian brain status.

    no joke.

  • Nick Menza is one fucking serious drummer

  • PLEASE TELL ME IF THIS IS ON DVD. THIS IS THE BEST LIVE SHOW I'VE EVER SEEN OF THEM

  • @DustBuster91 its in the war chest set

  • @DustBuster91 pirates, pirates everywhere =)

  • mi cancion favorita de megadeth

  • Haha it looks like menza was trying to break someone's balls with that solo at the end...MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!xD

  • Best....song....EVER!!!!!!!

  • i think dave is better than kirk because dave writes all the riffs and solos where as kirk only get the chance to write solos cause james writes the songs mostly. but im happy to have 2 great bands.

  • @MrHappyniceboy so true, dave owns kirk in every possible aspect. kirk is an overrated player, theres MILLION better out there.

  • @MrHappyniceboy Well he has a lead guitar player and everyone thought that it was Dave! So if Dave was so good why is there a lead guitar player in the band,or did you not know that. It's not about how fast you can sweep i don't care for people that sweep like a broom. It's about writing a song that will change your fucking life. Those are caled SMASH HIT'S. For you info Metallica Hatter number 666.

  • @7865617 Ive never heard Marty write anything worth a dick either...

  • @sepulmattica1 lol metallifag. marty is top 5 guitarists ever lived and walked on planet Earth.

  • @9CRonaldo8Kaka Well, whether he's top 5 that ever lived really is a matter of opinion, and as far as SOLOING goes, I feel hes definitely up in the top 10, It is also my opinion that he's never WROTE a song worth a dick. See the difference?

...and Im not some metallifag, I dig both bands.

  • @sepulmattica1 i respect your opinion. check his solo albums, THATS QUALITY aswell. check cacophony with becker, and then if u say he never wrote a song worth a DICK, you sir should kill yourself.

  • @9CRonaldo8Kaka I can only guess three of the best:

    JImmy page

    Marty friedman

    Jimi Hendrix

  • @wewillrockyou1986 Jason Becker 4th for sure.

  • @9CRonaldo8Kaka mustaine is top 5 guitarrist ever lived, walked and flyed on the planet earth

  • @evhjpppf98 true dat also.

  • @sepulmattica1 lol, listen to Cacophony before you make such retarded statements. Typical Metallifag.

  • @xXfoursh0tXx Ive heard Cacophony, pretty much just a bunch of shred, doesnt automatically mean its good. I personally thought the music he wrote in Aloha was better than Cacophony...and just because someone criticizes something about Megadeth doesnt mean there a

Metallica fag, lol, A typical Megadeth mark.

I have plenty to criticize Metallica for, BELIEVE ME!!!!!!!!

  • @sepulmattica1 just by your comment I see you don't play guitar. cacophony bunch of shred? sure as hell is, but what shred? becker friedman duo is the best duo in the world that ever was. nobody can match their talent.

  • @9MERCURIALVAPOR9CR9 You could tell that by my comment I dont play guitar pretty much means your terrible at reading people, Ive been playing guitar for 25 years and Id take a challenge with you and prolly shred you in half. Sure their talented, as far as soloing, the problem I have is when writing songs I personally like it when the lead guitarist doesnt show his whole hand in the 1st 3 songs of the album. You listen to the 1st few songs and youve heard everything, and then it gets old fast.

  • @sepulmattica1 every troll on youtube plays guitar for 30 years, is better then Marty and Poland combined etc etc. But I couldn't care much. Jason and Marty are fucking incredible. And as far as goes about Poland and Marty, nobody could play Poland solos, he's too unique.

  • @9MERCURIALVAPOR9CR9 You cared enough to make the bull shit claim that I dont play guitar. And once again I gonna say, I KNOW THEIR TALENTED AT PLAYING GUITAR SOLOS, its song writing that really does it for me. Until I hear Marty write something as meaningful as Holy wars or My last words, he just a great lead guitarist, and nothing more.

  • @sepulmattica1 Listen to his Album Scenes, you'll see meaningful songs.

  • @MrHappyniceboy It has got nothing to do with my belief, some music is simply better than other.

  • It's not even the same genre. Besides Pantera was one of the best bands to ever walk this planet - something that anthrax or slayer can only dream of. Top 3 metal bands: megadeth, pantera, metallica - any other discussion is discarded.

  • @dzaijn That's just an opinion, and an ignorant one at that.

  • @dzaijn Just be careful not to bring I "I am the night" or "Ride my rocket" up when making that claim about Pantera

  • This is my favorite live performance of a song of all times.

  • 5 fuckjnuts walk around with ashes in their mouths

  • That is pretty true man. I think every song Metallica ever did has been in the Key of E. Well E Flat now. I am pretty Slayer and Megadeath have been tuneing to E flat for years before Load and shit. Yes marty can Sweep like a broom. I like Kirk this is not a fucking game it's about writing good songs that tuch you when you are in a fucked mood. James has a better voice not as weird sounding. Sometimes it sounds like a joke when Dave sings but I still like it.

  • @7865617 megadeth only did one album in E flat the rest are in E

  • @MegaRattlehead666 actually make it two because peace sells... but who's buying is also played on E flat

  • @jepgmetal it's not on E flat, but not entirely in E, i don't know for shure but i would say the guitars are tuned in E 438 Hz, and not in the standard 440.

  • @jepgmetal oh yeah i forgot but its tuned down only half a fret on killing is my business and peace sells

  • @MegaRattlehead666 listen the conjuring or any other song of that album and try to play it on standard its not going to sound the same

  • @jepgmetal yeah thats what i said. its like a quarter step or something

  • @7865617 Killings my business and peace sells is in E flat Everything else since has been in E up at least until Cryptic writings, after that I didnt really pay attention.

  • @sepulmattica1 kimb is 1/4 down of standard, peace is Eb and youthanasia is Eb too. i think they're the only ones.

  • @VictimRattlehead I'm pretty sure peace sells is just a 1/4 step down too. You are right about the other two though. I think it's amazing how big and heavy Dave can make a guitar sound, in just standard tuning. I play guitar and the only way I can get a big sound is tuning down to B Flat straight...

  • @VictimRattlehead Peace sells is not on Eb, it's the same as KIMB

  • @01020498 it's 1/4 down.

  • if this song was a woman I wouldn't hesitate to propose

  • 1:35 nike jojojo

  • Mustaine and friedman are cool highest.

  • Where do we go from here? and should we really care? God Have Mercy. \m/

  • i want to have this concert in HD

but i dont know where to find it

  • 5:24 sounds like his shit is stuck and he is trying to take it out XD

  • @Metallicafan825 even greater than that dude even greater .....

  • @Metallicafan825 hellyeah to that brother r.i.p dime

  • Very interesting voice Mustaine has, not so energetic like Hetfield but I adore it! ^^

  • @Metallicafan825 When I responded to this It didnt show the comment making the topic about Slayer. My appoligies friend

  • @Metallicafan825 Are you kidding me? Well, your name is Metallicafan so your automatically a closed minded fool besides the fact that you think megadeth solos are bad when Ive never heard Kirk Hammett leave the key of E minor when he solos....Not that you know anything about that though

  • @gh0stmasta I agree with you entirely, but saying someone is automatically a closed minded fool because they are a Metallica fan is a much worse generalisation. Also, it's "you're" for "you are", not "your".

  • @DoobleyDooBAH Holy run-on sentence, Batman.

  • @gh0stmasta hey, woa im a metallica fan, but i prefer marty's solo's, and kirk isn't that great, but he is better then you think

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @gh0stmasta I totally agree....heck Dave is as good as Kirk is.....and Marty is an absolute monster!!!!!

  • @gh0stmasta yeah he's a pentatonic addict lol

  • @gh0stmasta Clearly you've never heard "Disposable Heroes", then. Hammett alternates between soloing in E minor and C minor in that song; it's actually pretty cool.

But yeah, let's keep the hatred between Metallica and Megadeth fans going, that one never seems to get old. It's not like they're both good bands or anything like that.

  • @gh0stmasta james most the time has complete songs written with rhythms in the same key, what else is kirk supposed to do? you ever think about that? all mustaine does is the same pentatonic patterns, its easier to play mustaines solos then kirks, but not friedman...

  • @gh0stmasta having Metallica in your name automatically makes you closed minded? Well, thats closed minded in its self...and a few solos that Kirk plays in other than E minor, Unforgiven (A minor), Second half of Master solo when the rhythm shifts up to F#, Dyers eve shifts to F#,E, A, B, Call of ktulu (mostly A) Hit the lights (B then A) To live is to die (F# minor, A minor) ...not that you know anything about that though.

    Is Kirk great? No

Are his solos better than Mustaines? Oh yes!

  • @sepulmattica1 Is Kirk a better guitar player than Dave just because he makes a few solos better? I mean Mustaine does hard riffs and sings at the same time he is a better lyricist and a better composer than kirk, so it makes him a better guitar player

  • @concertinamen Go back and thoroughly read the end of my statement. I said Kirk is a better soloist than Dave. I never said Kirk was a better guitarist in a whole. If you factor in writing, style, and innovation, I feel Dave buries him all around. Theres more to what makes a guitarist than how good he can play solos. I think James is a better all around guitarist than kirk...and I also think all three of them completely bury Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman.

  • 4o\m/

  • I just watched the 2008 version of this song and there's no comparison. This was the best lineup the band ever had, and it's a god damn shame. Oh well wish the guys the best.

  • @rounder421 totally man. one can't even begin to compare the current lineup or ANY other lineup with this one right here. they were in their prime during this era and for Dave to come out and say that this was not his best lineup ever is ludicrous

  • The best lineup although Mustaine by himself is great... We'll see them in Mexico the next November!!!

  • 666 likes.....awesome
