I Want a game where you have to run the Underground, where you can build new lines, new stations, rename stations and lines, deal with problems and disasters etc.... unfortunately I don't think one exists

@YesIamEccentric There's a game called A-Train, it's not very popular however it involves you creating towns and cities with use of the railways. You can build everything from underground trains to maglev trains. A-Train 8 it the most recent version that is readily available. Google is your friend :)

exactly, the This is a Central Line train to Hainault Via Newbury Park is so long, i mean, you know your on the Central Line already. why the need to make the trains say it is, fair enough with lines like the District, Circle and Hammersmith & City Line due to track sharing, and all the added "Please Mind the Gap between the Train and the Platform"

you might need to try and run BRR, i just converted it for use on BVE2 and works on BVE4 (don't ask why lol)
