No, I used a mission in which Tommy has to go pick up Candy, so for a short time, they are together. I just didn't return Candy to the end of the mission, so she went with me wherever I went. Then I played as Candy for a few sequences.

When Tommy and Candy are together, it's from the episode where he has to promote the porn movie. I just drove around with her on the back of the bike for a couple of days of game play to get the right shots.
There's an XboX cheat code that lets you play as Candy. That's how I made her walk on the beach and stand in front of the Village People.
