Wow! Not scary or creepy? Yeah, suffering from mental illness is not scary at all, especially if it causes you to devolve into a unsympathetic, cannibalistic, mindless and evil creature. Or how about waking up only to be eaten alive 30 seconds later. Some of the revelations in this movie are pretty disturbing, too. Maybe if it had lens flares or a comic relief character, it would've been better received.

Plot holes, Resident Evil metaphors... give me a break. Next time you have the urge to look smart, better shove some metal object in electric socket.

WTF are these critics talking about!! This is a good movie and i agree it takes a smart person to really deeply understand it, but at the same time any one with any itelligence leval can just injoy the movie.

If you have a brain and can think and pick up on clues given to you throughout the movie you'll realize exactly what's been going on for several hundred years and how close humanity came to extinction. It's more intelligent than people give it credit for. Ironically it takes an intelligent person to figure it out.

It had two solid twists, incredible set design and visuals, great execution at unfolding the plot and storyline, and Ben Foster pulled off and incredible performance. My only criticism is that sometimes everything would move a little too quickly, such as development of the characters. I'd give this movie an 8.5/10.
I saw the movie yesterday and I really liked it. From now on, I will never take rotten tomatoes rewiews seriously. 30 something percent? Come on. The story is classic sf, with no holes in it. I give the movie 8.5/10. Anyone who loves sf and horror will enjoy it. It is much better than Event Horizon in my opinion. I only wish it was a little bit scarier (that is why I gave it 8.5). And Dennis Quaid was a pleasant surprise, I am not use to see him playing characters like this one. Bye everyone
