the mics make it sound good, taking off the resonant heads cuts down on the overtones, i just think it makes a cheap set sound better

Hey, sometimes I can hear you hit a tiny ghost note on the snare after the main hits. I mean, really small. Basically just from letting your stick come at rest on the drum. Is that intentional, for keeping time or is it an accident?
