  • is it just me or she forgot to use the Tajine ?

  • delicious recipes from far away nations !

  • Girl, that dish looks AMAZING! Turnip is a very under-used vegetable. What it does for any meat and veggie stewed dish rocks. Nice job. Subscribed.

  • Went travelling through Morocco a few years ago and have good memories of the food. The only pain in the arse was the bloody kids following you everywhere and the Police and other 'officials' wanting money off you for no good reason. Still, food was great!

  • I really like to watch your video. Am Moroccan myself ( born in Holland)so i regonize a lot. You really cook the Moroccan way. But am confused by 'culantro' . What is the Moroccan word for that? I thougt it was 9azbour or coriander. By i have googled it and it is something diffirent.

  • @tomatich

    yes correct, it is 9azbour!

  • @cookingwithalia Hey A'lia

Women look so beautiful and cute in the traditional Islamic dress, why dont you wear one?

  • @cookingwithalia Hey A'lia

Women look so beautiful and cute in the traditional Islamic dress, why dont you wear one? Modesty if the face of Islamic women. By the way I love Moroccan food and also love cooking.

  • I remembered about 20 years ago I stayed 2 months in Morocco.I had lots of eggs /shakshouka and maccaroni... Anyway, what i miss most is a pickle called Zeytoon Al Harr (spicy olives). I could not find them in any other country. They where really good!!! They had pieces of carrot and cucumber (I think) in it. That was very similar to our Indian pickles and I always had those, beacause in general, morrocan food wasn't really spicy enough for me. I needed something...

  • Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac... What is the name of the Eid?

  • Eid Mubarak. Thanks for the video. I have just started cooking in my tagine. How should this recipe be altered if cooking in a tagine? Would you add this much water?

  • first, make sure that you are cooking the tajine on very low heat if you are using the stove. Also, that your tajine is completely brown and made of mud, if it has painting it may contain lead. As of the water, you may not need that much - so add around 1 cup of water until the meat is cooked, then add the vegetables, and some water if needed, until done. always make sure that there is enough water in the tajine for the meat to cook and to have some sauce at the end. hope this helps!

  • I use my tagine on low heat on my electrice stove with a heat diffuser. It has been working ok so far. I find that I can cook with very little water. I tried your Kefta mkaouara recipe and it was very tasty. شكراً

  • Your cooking presentation was great, as usual. However, you should not hide your loveliness in the darkened room during the introduction.

  • Great for the Eid .. thank you ! I wish you happy Eid

  • *** Mabrouk Al Eid ***

  • Eid mubarak : D
