I'm sorry if they exist Enrique fans out there. But I always thought he was kind of a pointless character. Why did the creators add him? Aren't Max and Emmy really all that's needed?

Enrique's an okay character, i don't love/hate him, but I grew up with the old episodes and Enrique is new to me, it feels kind of weird, he just comes out of nowhere XD
