The Kamiloiki 1212 sounded like a 2t22 when it originally wound up, then when the pitch dropped it sounded like a Carter. That thing is trippy.

I live in Ohio, thoes are the sirens we hear when there is a tornado warning, which in Ohio is every other day during the summer...lol. Isn't that such a terrifying sound? I swear all summer long that is the sound that makes you crap your pants! Be safe!

The resident manager made an exception to evacuees due to the circumstances. HPD patrolled the area too, and they just checked up to make sure everything was okay.

What's up with that Kamiloiki Valley EOWS1212? I've talked to some residents in that area and they said it's been sounding like that for a while during alert signals. Bad controller? Batteries? Geckos & centipedes getting inside again?

Wow, that EOWS is on it's very last legs from the sounds of it. That isn't the Swanzy Beach Park 612 is it? Glad you guys made it out alright!

@murrfarms Yeah I'm glad we made it. It's an EOWS1212 in the valley below (Swanzy Beach is on the other side of the island), and it sounds like it's going to die soon. it suffers the same sickness the Swanzy Beach EOWS612 has: bad controller/battery I'm guessing. It seems no one has called it in.

Ohh ok, I couldn't tell where you were when you shot the video lol. Yeah it sounds a lot like the EOWS612 at Swanzy Beach, but this one seems to start out higher and almost instantly drop in pitch. Sounds like the controller's capacitors are going out, or it was damaged by something such as lightning or water.
