(N-fuckin'-O!)"
Then there's "carbon emissions cause global warming!" It's never a question, always a statement without the slightest consideration that what they really mean is CarbonDiOxide causes global warming. Carbon and CO2 are very damn different. Carbon is emitted from just about every living thing and every production process and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see "laws" being written with terms like "carbon emission" instead of "CO2" and having it enforced as written.
So the question is "Does CO2 cause global warming?"
The answer is NOT that 90% of scientists say yes. That is a bullshit statistic and insanely improbable, especially on a subject that that deals with climate and weather, calculations for which involve Chaos Theory type math.

It would be a North American, European, Asian and even Middle Eastern problem, and every time a country industrializes, then they would become part of the problem too. Then there's "carbon emissions cause global warming!" It's never a question, always a statement without the slightest consideration that what they really mean is CarbonDiOxide causes global warming. Carbon and CO2 are very damn different. Carbon is emitted from just about every living thing and every production process and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see "laws" being written with terms like "carbon emission" instead of "CO2" and having it enforced as written.

It would be a North American, European, Asian and even Middle Eastern problem, and every time a country industrializes, then they would become part of the problem too. So how do we get all these different modern regions and future industrial countries to restrain themselves? Well, they must be restrained externally of course. That would be the end of our US govn't and the beginning of a regional or global government.

Before Lincoln, this was the argument that was talking place in the US. It was the government, which wanted power, vs the states and their people who did not appreciate being usurped in any way. They talk about the branches checking themselves, but they NEVER talk about one of the most powerful checks that existed before the Civil War - the states' check over the federal government. The supreme court was not the last stop for interpreting the Constitution.
