Sting did a great job with this tribute, when he starts..... can't see nothing in front of me......... the hairs on the back of my neck stand to full attention, The Boss is and will go down in history as one of the most inspirational figures in popular culture. Although i appreciate the talent of Bob Dylan, his day was in the 60s in terms of affect of music, Dylan could'nt lace Bruces boots in terms of body of work. The Boss always wins the Dylan argument.

@happyhourkid I'll have to go along with that. Sting has a very strong voice, and it takes a voice like that to sing a song like the rising. I've seen Bruce in concert three times now, and as far as I can tell he pushes from not from the head like pop singers, not from the diaphgram like a classical singer, but from the botton of his feet.

Nope, one of my favorites is Bruces mom getting (or presenting) an award in Freehold or somewhere. Don't think that's her, but still, I felt like that lady watching this. "don't see nothing in front of me. don't see nothing behind. on my back's 60 lbs of stone, round my shoulder 1/2 mile of line. " if that doesn't depict a powerful moment of that day.... Came roaring down here on wheels of fire! Twin towers firemen, they went up as everyone (we) went down.
