Can't wait for those new corollas to be built in Mississippi with non-union labor. That way i'll know my transmission wont crap out at 50,000 miles like my last UNION made car.
These angry protestors represent about 10% of the union workers at NUMMI. In fact, Local 2244 leadership had to go outside of the local to gather support. They paid people $30 to protest for 4 hours!
@ihatebeets All Union members against the corruption of the unions need to band together and speak up against it!! Does the Union REALLY speak according to YOUR values or is it more greasing palms, fleecing of members....Unions are NOT what they were intended to be, they have become, like the govt....power hungry, money hungry, corrupt THUGS!!!
Don't ever buy a Toyota build in NUMMI after Toyota announced the closure, because these workers going to get pissed off at Toyota and they might do something to the Toyota vehicles they build. If you buy it, don't know? because there might be a lot of fucking problems with the cars and trucks assembled by those angry protestors.
@KENZHATE is that a fact? No it isn't. You obviously don't know the work ethic at Nummi. Sure these videos on YouTube show a less than pleasant impression of Nummi workers, but they have more decency that you would think. Give them some credit. Geeez.......

The workers killed the goose that laid the golden egg, out of 4600 workers at the plant 900 are on LOA . or modified work
Nummi had to use massive amounts of temps to cover this.
The Union protects a bunch of lazy assholes who play the system Toyota claims it cost 500 dollars per car more to build in Calif.
They also had a no layoff clause in the contract
