This happened to me. I was going to Brazil and I missed a flight because a baggage loader hit the plane while loading the baggage and delayed it. I had to stay overnight in Washington, in aa hotel luckily, and got to Brazil late. Then on the way home United cancelled the flight to Washington and well we got home late...

I was new in States and my flight was late from Newark. That made me miss my next flight to KS!

I was on Detroit airport for at least 14 hours and only with vegi. sandwiches!

The United Air. shifted me to North west and those people kept me on stand by!

I was trapped!

At last after 14 to 15 hours I got a flight..

I spent the night in the airport a couple of times. Haven't spent the night in Dulles though, since that's where I was usually either going to or coming from. If I still lived in DC I totally would have put you up for the night :/ Remember - I live in Minneapolis now! If you ever get stuck there you have a friend :)

I don't understand why they MUST have the TV and announcements on all night. Makes it impossible to sleep well.

I bought it at Walmart while in the US. They aren't available in Brazil either. :( And their quality is even MUCH better then this video shows. They have a 30 minute limit though..but that's not a biggy to me. It's a great camera IMO.

Dulles is a nice airport (though way too complicated/expensive to access from D.C.) but yeah, it's a real pain when you miss flights for Brazil-not so many of them from D.C.!
