Exhausting just to watch! I lived in Soap Lake 1949-1952, the last 2 years at 260 5th Ave SE (just two blocks south of your venue as determined by the remnants of the old Elementary School in this video), leaving there at age 5. I don't know if the SLFD was situated at the same location back then, but I do recall a curfew siren being blown in the evenings.
