  • Lever Brothers [Lux soap, All detergent (yes, some commercials were still filmed in black and white at the time)] is the "alternate sponsor" at 6:52.

  • Truky astounding. I was 12 and was totally hooked on this show. I would dress all in black and practice sneaking around and climbing difficult obstacles in order to become a heoic cat burglar. Since I could not be a bodyguard at that age and weight, what choice did I have? Seriously, I got into a lot of trouble being T.H.E. Kitten, but I learned al lot. It is amazing to see this again, and espeically the theme tune. I never thought I would ever see it or hear it again. Million thanx 2 denteltv

  • My mom never missed this show whiched aired on Friday night's during the 1966-67 season on NBC!

  • @2nicks She was one of the few...CBS won the night with the Top 20 performance of THE FRIDAY NIGHT MOVIES, and an equally strong lead-in from HOGAN'S HEROES took a lot of steam out of CAT's lead-in, THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. Meanwhile, ABC found America not clamoring for the return of Milton Berle in a variety format (no matter how they felt about him as Louie the Lilac on BATMAN).
