@FletcherAviation I don't find it difficult at all. As soon as the plane calls out "10" wait a split second then gently cut the engines and flare slightly. You'll land it smooth
Music is to cover up the name of the flight attendant they are talking dirty about! As for engine noise, there is not much of it present in most jets... if you want real jet noise you need some outside footage courtesy of a mechanic... I see about posting some for you... P.S. CCR=Good Music! maybe the pilot rocked out to it in 'Nam flying whirly birds...lol.
Bahahahaha!! How can you be scared of doing the best thing in the world?? Makes no sence to me, trust me when your up there nothing else matters! go for it man
Yep I do, since I was eight years old, and now 10 years after i'm signed up at a college joined with Delta Connection Academy ready to start my dream :)
Everything is possible! You only need to put the effort and the will.
it's all experience and training! :) I had the same question until my first flight with a well experienced instructor. He could handle that airplane as you could handle your bycicle :P
You need a private pilots license, instrument rating, commercial license, flight instruction certificate would be suggested, an ATP license (to fly PIC) and at probably around 1000 hours of total flight time to get into a regional airline. depending on the airline (ex. JetBlue - 1500 hours; American Eagle - 800 hours) most average at 1000 though.

stepheng101 4 years ago
The 1000 hours required for most of those airlines is Jet PIC time. You'll probably have 3000 hours before you start to get calls.
