Interesting. I just uploaded the exact same commercial breaks from the Westcountry region and they're not the same. Obviously, regional ITV still existed back then in a worthwhile sense, so the regional companies sold their own I wonder if they're sold nationwide now.
@Applemask I very rarely watch ITV or C4/5 nowadays, so I'm not sure whether regional advertising still survives, but it was very much alive all the way through the 90s. The loss of regional identity caused by the Carlton/Granada buyout of ITV means that any such regional ads would be the last bastion of the original regional setup...
@oliverd8888 According to some reports I've seen, you can still find Brooke Bond D if you look hard enough, though I can't recall seeing it recently. There were other ads in the series; there's one somewhere on YouTube from the late 80s which used the same basic tune as this one with a different actress and scenes.
Yes - circa 1987 - a traffic warden, a woman commuter and a builder all singing that they could "do with a 'D'"... which my friends made a tad ruder...
Indeed I do; I still have the remaining ad breaks from Mary Poppins to encode, and I promise I'll get around to doing them soon! One of them has the Carlton Easter ident in it...
So the D product was still available in 1993 and I remember one of the many Burger King Kids Club advert. My best memory of it was while watching CITV programmes such as Woof, How 2 and Fun House.

I remember the 'D' advert from then. I know there were probably other ones in the series? Is 'D' even sold anymore?

Do you have any more ITV adverts from around the easter period of 1993?
Cos i had these on a video myself with Mary Poppins and Winnie the Pooh and the tape has gone walkabouts and it's great to see these again?

@WorldRecords I used to have a recording of Winnie The Pooh from around that time and some of these adverts were included on there.
