The Werehog himself I don't think is bad. On his own I think his gameplay would actually be pretty dang fun. But as a Sonic gameplay element not so much.

@pkstarstorm1up I agree. It's nice to see Sega try something new in gameplay, but should first test it on other games before it's a Sonic thing!

If I may just say, Unleashed was not a turnaround. It's one of the worst games I've ever played.

Well yeah, Sonic's levels are pretty damn good, but everything else just ruins it for me. =S

This version of rooftop tlrun in unleashed is definitely better than the wii version. Way longer and an entirely different map

I heard everywhere that this game is as aweful as Sonic 2006, but it really looks awesome.

@POLE7645 I think it was criticized a lot for the night levels, where the player had to take control of Sonic as a were-hog.

@POLE7645 It's kinda hit and miss most of the time. Whilst the daytime levels are generally good, some of them are an absolute mess. The werehog levels really depend on whether or not you like platforming/beat-'em-up style gameplay. I would say it's worth checking out, just keep in mind that this game is not as polished as it could've been

@lumpycheesegames:yeah I guess it does depend on that though most people may just be alot into devil may cry or something but werehogs great and the daytime llevels are amazing.

@POLE7645 It's no where near being as awful as Sonic 2006. It is pretty good. Personally, I got tired of the night stages.

@POLE7645 Sonic 2006 is much MUCH better then this game is. Sure 06 has lots of technical issues but the fact that most of them can be avoided and that it is overall much more of a Sonic Adventure game with lots of fun playable characters, an epic storyline, lots of 3D platforming, and is overall just a much more fulfilling experience then Sonic Unleashed's Boost to Win formula is.
