this game looks like a piece of shit. what a huge disappointment since i loved the first one. the original character had more of a human look rather than a cross between robocop and the master sargent. it also had a cool bloom/haze look which is gone. the old game music was also very dated and cool. the ai with the monsters is lame. this is just a 3d version of an old 1980 arcade game. i think the reviewer must be getting kickbacks. cant imagine what hed say about a truly good game like Halflife

@turkeydogification : I actually really miss playing the first one when I changed over to a PS3. I liked the kind of retro look with lots of bloom and jumping over buildings and pitching cars. I liked the narrator's voice when you made achievements. I REALLY liked the corny soundtrack and gun sounds. I thought the idea of having a game you could expand as you wished by purchasing add ons and missions was brilliant marketing it just didn't take off for some reason. Anyway, thanks for the support.

So I really enjoyed the first Crackdown. The question that I have for any gamer out there, is if this game does the original justice? Now I head that it is more of the same. This can be good or bad in some cases. Examples of "more of the same" being a good thing, would include: Assassins Creed(s), Fallout(s), Bioshocks(s) and many more. The sequels to these awesome titles had enough changes to justify a sequel, which is what I am wondering if Crackdown 2 does? I hear that the color changed?

In my opinion only awful thing is the game. I liked the Borderlands style graphics but this game just lacks something. Camera is annoying when it keeps jumping everywhere. The character is WAY too fast which makes it look stupid when a man runs 80 miles per hour. The streets are completely dull looking without those freaks. Boring game...

I thought people were too harsh in reviewing this game. Personally, I think it's good, but it's not any better than it's predecessor, but that may be a good thing, because the first game was endless fun. I love the comic book style graphics, the super-soldier style gameplay, the futuristic timeline. After completing Crackdown 2, I can't wait for any DLC that will be released soon.

If you love this game. Try starting from the start and going all the way through on "Sadistic" difficulty. You'll die... alot, and often. especially from explosives, sniper rifles and shotguns. You'll quickly find yourself becoming frustrated to no end.
