I see how you saw that though, I had to look at it twice to, there is a Simoleons Currency sign in front of the number. At first I thought it was 56,000, but its only 6K.

Cool video! But i just have one question, if you put a park in the middle of the block the park will be inacessible to the road no? I mean, you put some beautiful ideas but i tought everything you build is suposed to be connected to the road, and in some of your cases is not...that makes any diference?

You need to remove your videos they are full of modifications "mods" that aren't in the original versions of this game, thus making it much easier to play than intended, I've yet to see a good video with no mods that work. Because no one will take the effort to do so.

i can hardly get my city to even build high tech industries although the demand is high.

The problem you're probably having there is taxes, demand and location. If dirty and manufacturing demand is still high, it will crowd out any HT demand. HT likes to be by residential zones. Also, if it's still too early in the game to get natural demand for HT industry, pump up the taxes on Dirty and Manufacturing to 20%. Then all you'll be left with is HT demand. Give them high density industrial, and they should build if the demand is there and if the location is right. Good luck!

Maybe I haven't been paying attention, but in your tutorials I am missing the really large buildings, at least, the ones with a large ground area. Hold down the control key and drag 4x5, 5x5, 4x6, 5x6 and 6x6 zones. Without these zones, you will miss out on a lot of great buildings, especially if you have a few plug-ins installed !

They're in the game, in the civics menu, there's a Parks Menu that contains them.

I usually make 6x7 blocks and fill them with 3x3 size zones and leave one row for buss stops, metro stations and parks.

a good tip is not only create parks, but use the god mode cheat and just put trees over everywhere( not just empty space, commercial, residential and industrial lots ) and it does get them growing

The more the better, they fight pollution and raise land value BUT they do cost money! So you must balance the amount of parks you have, unless you use money cheats and money is not a problem.

Don't listen to the other guy. Hold Ctrl+Shift+Alt+ any number 1-10. 1 will be a very small circle. 10 will be normal size.

Forgot to ask: On EP.2, how did you get enough money for so many construction projects? It was like you had a bottomless treasury. One of the things keeping my cities from growing is the slow trickle of money, the min-maxing of service funding, and the subsequent and inevitable fill-in of $ apartments, which saturate the demand on schools and hospitals while paying very little taxes, killing off the slow trickle, thus strangulating my pitiful city.
