i am finally painting again and naturally started using this same style. i can't wait to have a local show as i think this style is new again. Tonalism is the new cubism!!!

Thank you for the show. May I ask you a question about forming the image? I would like to know before you started the piece, how much of the final version had you envisioned? 30% or 70%? And as you go along, how much change have you made? Thanks.

The confidence of this Sheehan's brushwork is awesome! Thank you! I see references to the Boston School, Barbizon and Tonalist painting of the 19th century, but he gives it a new spin. Fabulous.
