  • Bro am from India .... I have a 3inch Giant Gourami can you plz temme how much time will it take for it to get to the size of your Giant Gourami and also temme what do you feed the gourami..... mine dosent eat vegetables .......... please do respond :)

  • Wats up with the lack of vids?

  • i stock fish in a local creek with a floating basket. made of wood and a fine rubber net . we place a measuring tape on the side to see how big some of our large trout are. its a low stress system and easy to get them in and out. goodluck .

  • please make more videos, i love you plecos and how big they are!

  • try a floating meausre make one out of foam and wait for your arowana to swin by. It may not be the most scientific way but there is no chance of hurting the fish.

  • Why are you not making ids anymore?

  • Has to be world record, looking forward to new vids how is the koi

  • u're no malaysian???

  • i just want to ask if there were a time that ur fish died because of ur water?coz ur water is chlorinated ryt?..is it deadly if u fail to put the ryt amount of anti chlorine?im jst worried..bcoz our water hir in out place was replace with chlorinated water..im afraid to risk my 2 S.A,allgator gar, RTC,and spoted gar...T_T

  • @niruwa15 u have to use good water conditioner and maintain your filter media. use the same water from the pond to wash the cotton and filter media so that the bacteria is maintained. also only do partial water changes. try nutrafin AQUAPLUS and nutrafin CYCLE. those are awesome water conditioners. btw this is my new channel! follow me and subscribe here :)

  • Can u measure your oscars and redtails

  • get one of those fishing tool call "lip grip". Its designed to not harm fish for catch and release. Net ur aro and use the lip grip to stop ur arowana from biting ur fingers off and just lay it on the grass with a long measuring tape. should be done pretty quickly.

  • @Lilsaintaz LIP GRIP? woahh never heard of it...i will definitely need to research up about it...thanks for your help :) PS: this is my new channel! check it out :)

  • After seeing your videos i kinda want a pond too but i'm curious how you keep it heated and what kind of filter you use

  • @VietBoiPham i live in malaysia. hot tropical climate so i dont need any heaters or chillers. i use a huge cement partitioned filter with 4 pumps pumping water into 4 separate sections of the pond to create good water circulation and current.

  • where do you edit your videos? what application? pls tell me.. thanks! :)

  • @gianolrac i use imovies on the macbook pro! its really easy and comes free with the laptop. i learnt how to use it in one day :)

  • Wow Big Mama Looks Good :) My Silver Aro died last week because of there was too much chlorine in the tap water. He was just over 2 feet :( First arowana i have ever had and when i get a bigger tank im going to try again :)

  • @iCantTinkOfaGudName damn...that's rough...so sorry bro. you learn sumthing new from every mistake u make...i have no doubt u will come back a STRONGER and TOUGHER Fish keeper! HEAD UP! :)

  • net her and wrap in a wet sheet to keep her calm then measure. Shouldn't take more than 20 seconds for her being out of the water :)

  • Easier said than done...she is HUGEEE!! :)

  • could you make a video of your african goliath tiger fish? :)

  • @horsebow1 already done. its being edited. it is in a special edition video showing footage of every single fish i have! including underwater footage of all the pond fish! will release it sumtime next week or so :) LOOK OUT FOR IT!

  • you could get a marker and then call her to the side of the pond and put head to tail markings on the side of the pond and measure the marks and that would tell you. :)

  • what a monster , lovely fish and a pack of food sticks a day, wow that must cost you alot of money.

  • @matt98626 lol yehhh that's why i quickly taught him how to take dead meat...soooo much cheaper!

  • the people at aro farms in Malaysia should know how to do it, you should ask them!

  • @HungQDang That is true. they usually use those koi measuring fibre glass tubs. i have one that is one meter long. However, my arowana is well over 100cm so she won't even fit INSIDE! i tried!

  • @TLkmDN aren't you have a tank for injured fish that you used to put the rays in? how big is it?

  • @HungQDang 5 foot by 2.5 by 1.5. yesss that would be large enuf. however, I'm kinda using it to house my african goliath tiger fish! dw bro...where there's a will, there's a way! haha i'll think of something!

  • @TLkmDN put the GTF in the 1m measuring tank and use that 5 feet tank to measure the aro!

  • @TLkmDN and maybe use that 5 ft tank to measure the cats too!

  • @HungQDang i may wait for my new pond to be built. cause wen the people help me transfer my fish they will have equipment to move large fish. ill measure her then :)

  • @TLkmDN new pond? come on! I haven't have my 1000G yet! you lucky to be born in a rich family!

  • @HungQDang I'm not rich...

  • i saw people in thailand how they measure the arapima fish .they use a wide black net that have both hole on them .you can try that as long as you cover her eyes .or you can try to sedate her .i'd did it when i moved my crossback in a new tank .its save but just read the instruction .:) good luck

  • @DYHArfilms i gotta hire sum of this thai guys asap haha. thanks for letting me know :)

  • put a ruler on the side of the pond and call her to the side you dont even have to bother her :)

  • @africancichlidsrock definitely a possibility but probably hard to be accurate cause i won't be able to hold her still. she will fight back and dash away!

  • Man, she's a beauty! Um, you could get a wider net and catch her with it or catch her with a different net and put her in the wider net. The wider net could have a really long ruler on the lip. Lip I mean like the side opposite from the handle side. The side with the ruler markings should also be solid all the way down so that you can gently push her against the ruler and get an idea of how long she is. You can push her GENTLY with a different net but being careful because she might jump!

  • hey nice dude love the vids and can post a vid of the african tiger fish

  • @opdizzle559 coming soon. already been filmed!!! its being edited into a SPECIAL EDITION video! coming really soon! spread the word! :D

  • I suggest getting a long plank of white plastic and draw a ruler on it. Then place it in the water and take a picture of her in front of it. Easier said than done I know. Good luck.

  • @oconano haha i can't imagine her letting me put that giant plank of wood next to her...worth a try i guess...

  • Bro Congrats ! its a pretty big aro, but i dnt think its the biggest ! i've caught a aro in da amazon river wen i was fishn wif my uncle in brazil ! i think it was abou a meter to a meter an 10 cm long ! in the wild i believe there are aros about 140 cm long ! any ways congrats on ur aro ! i really love aros man ! im from minas gerais in brazil and there ppl has some AMAZING fish ! im frm brazil bt im corrently living in new zealand !

  • @kontaki27 Hey bro. yess i estimate my arow to be about 120+cm. I meant largest in CAPTIVITY and on video. And by size i don't mean just LENGTH...i also mean GIRTH. I've seen HUGE arows from Amazon documentaries but they are all pretty skinny.

  • @TLkmDN True true tehy are really skinny ! hw myj is a aro in Malaysia ? in new zealand a baby one is like 300 dollars and in brazil we eat it ! also do they have cheap discus in malaysia ? here in new zealand its like 1000 for a breeding pair and in brazil they are like 8 buks for a mean one ! i wana move to malaysia !

  • @kontaki27 EVERYTHINGGG is cheaper in malaysia bro...haha a baby silver arow is like 65 ringgit malaysia...which is likeeee 20 AUD (aussie dollars). SO CHEAP! and the selection is crazyyy here. i guess more people love fish. but yes going to brazil is one of my dreams! most of my fish come from the amazon! go check out my other videos. i have a HUGEEE RTC! about 4 feet long :)

  • @TLkmDN I've seen all ur vids man ! I'm ur Fan hahahah! I love RTCs aswell bro ! they r the largest freshwater fish in the amazon aye ?

  • @kontaki27 LOL nope i think my arapaimas are the largest. they will outgrow them in a few months if i continue feeding them like this! haha. RTCs have awesome personalities tho. i love them. But i have to say that taking care of my arapaimas has been the most fun I've ever had with fish! they are like dogs. they follow me everywhere and i LOVE hand feeding them! :)

  • @TLkmDN yeah arapaimas a really cool ! my dad ha a massive house in brazil which we have a soccer field a swiming pool and a pretty big mud pond ! im gna get heaps of fish when i go to brazil ! I also wana build a 500 gallon acrylic pond to keep al kinds of pleco and discus fish ! i waat the tank be designed like the deep waters of the amazon !

  • @kontaki27 haha i love that idea! sounds great!

  • @TLkmDN acrylic tank i mean

  • @TLkmDN Well they don't get Hikari at the Amazon now do they? :D

  • @chengaun ROFL i guess you're right....i only feed this big arow 3 times a week! i guess she eats A LOT THO!
