  • Lookin good. I dont like using Blender for compositing. I just render in multiple passes and composite the elements in Sony Vegas.

  • You can see the outline of the cube emitter.

    Good job though, especially since this is .04 versions before the smoke simulator debuted.

  • I tried the full tutorial but it won't render the particles in Vista or Ubuntu. Is there some patch or something nesasary to download other than blender 2.46?

  • You should make sure, that everything is set up like in the tutorial. And if it doesn't work at all, you should read the particle part in the Blenderwiki.
