@arabcutey make an account using gmail through your android and register your account. log in using your desktop and log in you android to the market. its a must that you have a wifi connecting your android. now download using your desktop, and that application will go straight to your phone..

@osama745 I've also encountered that before but I have solved it. Try accessing your Android Market from your Android Phone first (whether thru Wi-Fi or other connection). Create a new account there.

As you create your new Google-Android Market account through your phone, it also registers the phone you are using to the account.

Use the new account you have created to access and download applications from the Android Market.

Before using the Android Market website, you’ll need to use the Android Market app on your device first. To get your device to appear on market.android.com:

1.Open the Market app on your phone or tablet

2.Download an item from the Market app

3.Then try downloading an item from the Android Market website

4.If you don't have the Market app pre-installed on your device, contact your manufacturer.

go to settings and then account & sync, make an account there (you gotta have wifi) and sync everything. then use your market app to get apps.

after that your phone should be associated with your account.

i tried installing a couple of apps from the Android Market. i clicked the INSTALL button and says that This app will be downloaded to your device shortly. but nothing happens it says that its installed but as i search for any signs on my device (Sony Ericsson ST18i/xperia ray).. i connected my device onto my pc via usb and did what the instructions on the video told me but still no signs of the apps being installed or has been installed in my device.. please help..

And I just realized this after understanding that in order for the market to work, your phone must have a wireless connection. So your phone must at the same time have access to the Android Market App. Then what's the point of having an Online Market when your phone will have the Android Market app????

So if you don't have a data connection with your phone, your only option is try to get a wifi connection. That's pretty aggravating. What if your visiting another country and don't want to pay the outrageous data roaming fees. And you don't have wifi access.

The option to use a USB cable and your computer with a wired connection should be available.

@clamorrachel i finally connected with a wi-fi network and yes, you will need internet. just login from your phone (maybe you have to create a gmail account) and then login from pc. but you still need internet because they will send to your phone, you can't download to pc.

that's really annoying :(

@MelkoPena First you need to be connected via Wi-Fi with your mobile phone to your PC or via usb+some programs that let you roam the net that way. Then you also need to have 'Backround Data' enabled which is in 'Data Manager'->'Data Delievery' in the phone 'Settings' menu.
