It always amazes me the lack of thought some people put into their words. Take the person below misunderstanding the airline 2nd Amendment issue Ron Paul brings up... It's just a lack of capacity for critical thinking that gives birth to such ignorance. Either that, or they are purposefully spreading disinfo, but I give the benefit of the doubt and just say they're an idiot.

You are confused. He means that the airlines should have been able to arm the pilots and other employees, and NOT rely on the Fed government to secure their passengers and planes. You know, the same way that Brinks armored truck drivers are armed to protect themselves and their cargo...

The pilots and airline employees should have been allowed (as the second amendment says) to carry firearms and defend their equipment and the passengers theyre responsible for.

Even some european airlines allow that.

No one's saying "911 could NEVER happen if no one fucked with the 2nd amendment," but it IS being argued that its a hell of a lot harder to take over a plane when you think all the workers might just shoot you.
