  • Their problem is taking children into politic. Children s mind is very gentle. Adults (teachers and parents) mustn 't talk to them about such things about suffering . they must give children Love as much as possible and will see the results. I see very agressive people from both sides.

  • I m Christian and for all my life lived in Muslim country. \there were other Christians we study at school together and never asked about religious or other such kind of questions just studied, made friends and enjoyed our children' s life.

  • really this school is fantastic!!!

  • This is a really hard thing to do - get along with each other when hatred is all around. You have to start somewhere, though, and keep trying. IT WILL NOT BE EASY, but is definately WORTH THE EFFORT. Congratulations and best wishes to both Arabs and Jews. DON'T GIVE UP.

  • The Arab teacher was really inapropriate.

  • hopefully this is the beginning of more school promoting this sort of interaction between both Arab and Jewish students in Israel to help end this cycle of hate .

  • for one particular teacher from the Arab side.. really.. it's not about you ! it's about the children... i strongly disagree when a teacher is teaching subjectively and very one-sided... that's just how all of the history repeats itself... from the mouth of one person, planted since they were little kids..

have they (the teachers) ever wonder what the kids actually wants to learn and should be learning, bsides killing and death ?? and people wonder why the war kept going.. -__-

  • @huckahucka1 The other teacher was doing exactly the same.

  • Jews and Arabs should learn to appreciate each other. They are both sons and daughters of Abraham (AS). Both have a rich culture and history worth sharing. May Allah bring peace to this world! Ameen. "O mankind! Lo! We have created you male and female, and have made you nations and tribes that ye may know one another. Lo! the noblest of you, in the sight of Allah, is the best in conduct. Lo! Allah is Knower, Aware." Surah al-Hujurat (49:13)

  • The old woman should not ask those kind of questions to a young arab boy.18:00-19:51. That was really over the border.. She really shows that she hate arab.

  • "Voices of the world" is spelled incorrectly in Arabic at 0:19 !!!

  • Give it a rest grandma the boys are friends and having fun WHATS UR POINT??

and rawan and noa those 2 bff's SO cute LOve them......rawans dad that is not a way 2 talk 2 kids...kill her, really?? Just listen !

I adore Shahaf the most !!!

  • as watching tht documentry things doesnot seems to be sorting out.teachers need to come up with some different methods of studies.because if they going to teach history and going to talk about the past wars somebody going to hurt either jews or arabs like the little girl.so they should not include the content which will offend someone simple is that.but the teachers need some training aswell.

  • God bless Jews & Arabs who ventured a joint school for the sake of their children's future. Let the children lead. Committed friends, they could easily express their differences. How healthy & beautiful. How tragic the Arab girl had no freedom to fall in love or move out--her father would have to KILL her?! Unbelievable slavery. How rude of that Jewish grandmother to grill the Arab boy though. But the Jewish boy defended him. The U.S. & Israel has freedom to coexist. We must guard that freedom.

  • @CREATIVE3 (cont) so its fine to be a solution for peace and jews should accept to live in palestinian terretories (1948).But now its clear that the jewish nation partitioned by britain is different than the jewish nation of zionism, radicals and torah"j.Bible"so it will be the MISTAKE #2.

  • @adonese28 I have no clue what you're trying to get at.. The Jews were more radical before Israel was partitioned. Look, there's no way around it. You can't justify anything. We both know the facts. The arabs rejected the partition plan and attacked Israel after... everything now is a result of that. There is no way peace is going to come now because the HATE is too deep. It's no longer just a battle for land. Palestinian and Arab society is brainwashed to hate Jews as youth. This will never end

  • @CREATIVE3 Hate, fear, unsafe etc.. are all excuses to continue occupation believing that we won the war and we deserve to occupy and have it all.But i think that if israel really wants peace they will not worry about palestinians coz they have the #6 or 7 army in the world (not sure),and they dont need or wait to the love from palastinians. In case of 2 states the hate will decrease by time , and will increase more and more in case of occupation.Do egyptions, lebanese, syrians love israelies?and

  • @CREATIVE3 (cont) and everyone in his home.I called it the 2nd mistake coz i believe that they are making all arabs and muslims over the world (1.3 billion) hating israel due to this occupation. And if israel continues the muslims will be more united and this will be the real fear.(Lebanon,Syria,Turkey,Iran,Egypt etc..)Thats why Levni called Natanyaho to start a real negociations with pals.Israel is gaining time coz pals. are weak and muslims are separated, but the occupation will make them unite

  • @adonese28 2 state solution is what needs to be done.. but these religious fanatic jews have influence.. Maybe the leaders of Israel are scared to make negotiations with Pals because they fear their own safety within Israel... as I recall, Yitzhak Rabin was Killed by a Jewish radical because of Rabin's efforts to make peace with the osolo accords... I dont see it happening..

  • @CREATIVE3 I totaly agree with u in this point and let me add that fanaticism create more fanaticism, and all the fanatic muslim movements(Hamas,Hizbollah, muslim brotherhood etc..) are created as a reaction of the jewish fanaticism, and they are new(20-30years).In egypt they killed Anwar el sadat coz he sighned the agreement with israel.Hamas and hizbollah r created just for fighting israel and are getting more support coz people believe now that fanaticism should be faced only by fanaticism. So

  • @CREATIVE3 (cont)so they believe that israel should not exist in response to the radical jews who believe that palestine should not exist. But i do believe also that ppl who want peace in the arab-muslim part are more than the jewish part.So the peacefull jewish movements in israel and the whole world should grow up more and play a bigger role in israeli politics.Until we can have other brave man Like Mr Rabin and not like Liberman who called to hit gaza by a "small atomic bomb"lol.

  • @adonese28 While you may be right about the fact that Jews were the first to actually pull off large scale terrorist attacks like the king david hotel explosion which was targeted at the colonial expansionist Brits.. The jews build these organized units due to Arab violence on Jews which did not really have a name behind their violence. It was uncoordinated.

  • @adonese28 cont.. The Arabs were the first to be violent on Jews from what i've learned... and you my friend need to look around if you really think that there are more arab-muslims who want peace than Jews. Jewish fanatics represent a tiny, tiny, tiny portion of the Jewish population living in settlements. The majority of Israeli's who live outside the settlements would prefer to live in Israel proper peacefully.

  • @CREATIVE3 Well hope u r right , i dont live in israel but i have conclusions from the results of elections that every primeminister comes will be more tough from the previous.who can imagine that liberman will gain this popularity? when i mentioned peacefull jewish ppl i meant who want to make peace with pals. and not who want to live peacefully in israel and vote for criminals to kill pals in palestine. And u mentioned that religious fanatic jews have influence and leaders r scared of them.

  • @adonese28 cont, but now I feel its too late. Israel and Palestine will not come to a solution on their own.

  • @adonese28 The problem for Palestine is that Israel has more influence w/ the worlds superpower than Palestine ever will. I wish there could be a solution and some kind of peace, but the reality of the matter is that we are moving backwards instead of moving forward... Israel is still apparently waiting for it's existence to be acknowledged as a starter from Hamas, but I feel as though that clearly won't do a thing. Israel will need the complete disarmament of palestine in order to feel safe

  • @adonese28 Palestine of course will not be willing to do this, but I personally would not feel safe around a bunch of Palestinans who are taught in their schools and homes to hate jewish people, and many are encouraged by sects of radical islam unfortunately to kill. Theres more groundwork to do than just theoretical work.

  • if you say that arabs sold their lands maybe still easiar than the jews who were kiked out from palestine to egypt by christians and romans.but not all jews were kiked out and not all arabs sold their lands.so both deserve his own state and thats what i said in the begining

  • just like parents everywhere to mess it up for their kids. first thought

parents on both sides fail to see the bigger picture from the small pieces and miss out on peace for their children's sakes. second thought

  • does anyone know where I can find a script for this? I would like to use it for my own documentary short and I need to be able to search the text of the script

  • 12:08 - Ignorant Lady

  • the answer of Uri at the end: "we shouldn't kill anybody, we are all people"

why is this argument good enough to stop all wars?

  • This is REALLY sad.. For ALL parties involved!!

  • Amazing film!

  • that man, "mohamed (arab parent)" is a jew. thats a mistake. he speaks hebrew and he dresses nothing like a muslim! and its not even about his dress. that is very ignorant to assume hes arab!

  • When the Arab dad said he'd shoot his daughter, I believed him..and so did his daughter and he friend :(

  • @thatpecinalgirl My father is Jordanian, we live in Serbia, and since I was child he constantly repeated that when I grow up, I should have no boyfriend. When I grew up he told me never to tell him about my boys or he will disavow me(announce I am not his daughter) But when one day I knew who was the one:D The one(tall blond, long hair rocker) and I went to his job, and he said we are together. I was afraid from reaction. ...Now not only am I his daughter, but he takes us to restaurant weekly XD

  • @thatpecinalgirl but who knows if this Arab dad is bastard...and the culture he lives in formed him... But trust me no dad wants his daughter to be fooled around. I know European dads who have said they will shoot down boys XD but when that time came, they just had to suffer it :D In some cases I should have listened to my father, maybe I wouldn't have met some male bastards , but at least it gave me criteria:)

  • That grandmother should be ashamed of herself! He's a child!

  • please do not let yourselfs to be brainwashed by people like triplecheck4

just type on youtube "JUDEA DECLARES WAR ON GERMANY" AND SEE FOR YOURSELF ALL THE LIES ABOUT THE HOLOCAUST,

  • The main problem is : WHO WINS THE WAR SHOULD RULE.Thats what the jewish teacher was saying and almost all the jews believes the same ..And this is the reason for no having 2 states .i wonder if adolf hitler had won the war then he should rule europe?if the jews really want peace so they should give palestinians their lands(1948) and state.

  • @adonese28 Wait a minute. So if the arabs had gone through w/ their initial plan in the 1948 war of cleansing the Jews of Israel in order to retake a muslim leadership of that land, would you then say that is okay? Arabs sold their lands to Jews while jews were migrating in the ottoman empire of southern syria ( what is now known as Isreal/palestine).. Jews have been living their for thousands of years, and immigrants were arriving in the late 1800's.they've been living their for over a century

  • @CREATIVE3 if you say that arabs sold their lands maybe still easiar than the jews who were kicked out from palestine to egypt by christians and romans.but not all jews were kicked out and not all arabs sold their lands.so both deserve his own state and thats what i said in the begining.

  • @CREATIVE3 if you say that arabs sold their lands maybe still easiar than the jews who were kicke.d out from palestine to egypt by christians and romans.but not all jews were kicke,d out and not all arabs sold their lands.so both deserve his own state and thats what i said in the begining

  • @adonese28 they've had generations of children grow up in Israel.. why should they give back land when Israel is all they know? The arabs wanted to kill them and cleanse them out of Israel/palestine.. so if the arabs succeeded, they would be on the other end of things, but it so happened to be the Jews who won. The one time in modern history were jews are victors and not victims, and the world wants to be so critical. How about we start criticizing every nation in this world

  • @CREATIVE3 if you say that arabs sold their lands maybe still easiar than the jews who were kicked out from palestine to egypt by christians and romans.but not all jews were kicked out and not all arabs sold their lands.so both deserve his own state and thats what i said in the begining

  • @adonese28 and how the inhabitants on these lands have claimed it. War is not a new concept my friend, and it is ongoing till this day. New nations will form in the future, and in thousands of years from now, Israel will just be another country that was formed out of war..

  • @CREATIVE3 the big lie that u guys always use : they want to kill us and claimed war on us..ask yourself: if you say that you r there for thousands of years (i agree) why they didnt kill you before?what about the zionist movement that started in 1838?what about Theodor Herzl?what about the 1st zionist congress at Basle talking about the jewish homeland?what about the support of britain to jews from 1916 until 1945 to form the jewish state and get u out of europe?if jews lie, history will not..

  • @adonese28 To be honest, Britain was playing both sides of the field. I would never credit Britain with the establishment of a Jewish home land. Israel was established by Jews through their own might and will in 1948.

  • @CREATIVE3 Britain who allowed the jews to have their homeland in palestine in nov 2/1917 "Belford promise"and caused suffering for millons of palestinians who were expelled by force out of their land.Britain was conquering half of the world then and thought it can grant the land of anyone to anyone. It is worth mentioning that Belford promise was to be given over "Argentina" but's been modified the last moment. And in 1948 war the Britains gave king Foad of Egypt corrupted and unworking weapons.

  • @adonese28 I'm not sure if it is you I was telling this too, but Britain was playing both sides dude. The belfour declaration initially meant nothing. It was stated in 1917 and it took the Brits to feel the economical devastation of WW2 to finally pull out of Palestine in 1948, along with Jewish and Arab rioting and fighting in 1947. I'll admit, there was definitely some politics behind Israel's creation, no doubt about it, but it was minimal compared to the actions of brave Jewish men

  • @adonese28 They didn't kill us before because muslims are okay with Jews as long as they don't have to live under Jewish control. That is the main reason why. If we dig deep into history, we'll know that Jews have lived better under Muslim rule than Christian rule. We can all agree with that. Moreover, Arabs and Jews lived in this region for thousands of years but with a litle Jewish population that had no means of ever establishing a national homeland. As soon as Arabs noticed the influx

  • @adonese28 (cont. ) influx of Jewish immigration, that is when the problems had started. Palestinians had no problems when Jordan annexed their land after the war and turned west bank into part of the Jordanian Kingdom. We did not hear of any complaints.. why ? because it is an arab muslim nation. Palestinian identity and nationalism was only created after Israel was created.

  • @CREATIVE3 1st.Palestine was ruled by ottomans for 500y then the british pushed them out and ruled 30y and the rigion was called "British Palestine" .So how can plns. ask for their identity or creation?they asked for creation after the withdraw of the british the same like Syria,Jordan,Lebanon etc...2nd.do u really believe that plns should have accepted to live in a jewish zionist state who believe the Jews are a superior master race with a god given right to take any lands it desires from

  • @adonese28 Okay, but the land was partitioned it... the arabs never wanted to accept it. There were plenty of talks before Britain pulled out and Arabs did not accept any of them because like I continue to go back too, they did not want to live amongst a Jewish nation. They wanted it all or war and that is precisely what happened after Britain partitioned the land..

  • @CREATIVE3 Its not true that they wanted it all,the truth is that they were living in it all.So the idea from the beginig is wrong (jewish nation)now ifthere were only jews in this part so its ok.when they separated lebanon syria egypt and jordan they separated it geograficly and not by race or religion.Look at copts(christians)now in egypt, they refuse to live amongst a muslim nation and they have the right to do so even they r a minority. Now if arabs of 1948 accept to live in a jewish nation so

  • @CREATIVE3 (cont) from the "goyam"=non jews, who r considered inferior? And if u live with somebody in the same land for thousands of years how can u claim that it is your land ?what r they?what will they do?they should say yes control me Mr. zionist pls and i like to live as a 2nd degree citizen? And for last ask yourself if jews had invited palastiniens to create their own country for both of them in equal terms(like many countries with different races) there would be 70y of endless war?

  • @CREATIVE3 i know that war is not a new concept and its ongoing till this day, but not occupations(israel was the last). And i agree with u that new nations will form in the future, but by liberation and not occupations.

  • NFL/NBA/MLB/World Cup ...Jerseys $25

    Jordan 1-25 JAF $33

    nike shox,max,force one $35

    Puma $32 Converse $39

    Ed Hardy A&F tshirt $16

    New era/Bape caps $9

    crocs shoes hot sale $19

  • The Jews did not uproot the Arabs, they left for the most part due to the war, but they also never owned most of the land which was a state owned land for the most part.

  • @triplecheck4 what you witnessed was the difficulty in attempting to give history from two points of view

you also witnessed al taquiah at its finest...in the form of the arab teacher

there was no occupation in 48, unless you consider all of israel occupied

there was no nation of palestine in 48

  • @brabon1 Indeed the ignorance of the Jewish teacher and the manipulation of the Arab teacher is so obvious here. The Jewish teacher does not know her own history and the Arab teacher takes over and impose her false narrative on the others. They just don't get it that the Jews took no man's land. They are there by historical and legal rights and not by sufferage... They not only earned back but international law gives t hem the right to this piece of dirt called Israel/Palestine.

  • @triplecheck4 what is worse is her tearful exchange during the meeting. she purposefully gave over a version of history that was incorrect...then attempted to shame the children in the class

then cried when confronted? and lied at the same time? al taquiah at its best

what is sad (and for this i blame the state) they still teach kids that israel was created as a result of the holocaust....and that is just not true

  • @triplecheck4 you are the ignorant (kesubos 111a) Not to go up in masses to the land of Israel and take it by force Not to rebel against the nations Not to in any way attempt to end the exile

before the jews there were people already living there like canaanites

also many arqueologists agree that the true decendants of the ancients jews are most of the palestines that just were forced to convert to christianity by the byzantine empire and later to islam/arab by the ottoman empire

  • @SuperPaIabra Do read the 1922 Palestine Mandate Document valid to date, you might learn something. And do read Mark Twain's book "The Innocent Abroad" Chapter 54,55,56,57 etc. it is available on e on line. line . there he describe the land of Palestine as desolated, he couldn't see a human being along the rout.. Most of the Arabs came en mass w hen the Jews rejoin their brethren in Palestine to rebuild their ancestral homeland. Get your facts straight.

  • @triplecheck4 the ancient jews were forced to convert to christianity by the byzantine empire and later to arab by the ottoman empire so basically the pasletines own the land since they are for sure the closest decendants of the ancient jews

also most of the jews in modern state of israel are ashkenazis no wonder why they all are whites with blue eyes since most of them are decendats of jews that lived in slavic countries

  • @SuperPaIabra YOu too. get your facts straight. More than 50% of Israeli Jews are of the Middle East. ead Mark twai

  • @triplecheck4 jajajajajajajajaja come on who are you trying to brainwash?

land of palestine as desolated? yes becuase the british and french had desolated it in order to let the jews to conquer the land with ease

The Innocent Abroad - typical brainwashing propaganda!

teodor herzl just wanted a land for the jews, not exxactly the palestine land, like argentina, but when he heard the bristih were gonna help he change his mind

    /vho [dot] org/dl/ENG [dot] html

  • @triplecheck4 NO wonder why the bristih and french stood in palestine almost 20 years or until the zionists jews arrived to take over the land of the true decendants of the ancient jews

    HAVA NAGILA HAVA

composed by Abraham Zevi Idelsohn in 1918 to celebrate the British victory in Palestine during World War I as well as the Balfour Declaration. in order words "the ethnic cleaninsing, murdering of children and women in palestine, in order to establish a godless regime in palestine"

  • @SuperPaIabra first of all. Blonde hair and blue eyed jews are a minority in the world and in Israel. They look this way because of inter marriage in the diaspora.

  • @CREATIVE3 what does what you look like have to do with your religion. Also there are Jews from all over.

  • @myNSproductions what comment is this in reply to?

  • @CREATIVE3 'first of all. Blonde hair and blue eyed jews are a minority in the world and in Israel. They look this way because of inter marriage in the diaspora. < that one

  • and 2nd of all, there is a huge sephardic jewish population in Israel..

  • @CREATIVE3 niether pure jews in israel, the jews must be brown to black skin color and the proof is on the palestines(which many of them could be the true decendants of the ancient jews)

there no palestine with white skin, thats why israel is infested with impostors from europe who pretend to be jews

  • @SuperPaIabra Wrong, there is "palestinians" with white skin. Palestinians are not a people. They are just a mixture of Arabs from surrounding Arab countries. If you look at the people who live in Palestine, they are very diverse looking. Some are closer looking to egyptians, some are closer looking to Jordanian arabs. Palestinians are not an actual people. They only gained an identity after Israel became dominant

  • @CREATIVE3 jajajajajaja then why they were called palestinian jews?

neither those impostors in israel are jews, they are just some swine from european countries

the palestines have always been there, and are more PURE SEMITES THAN the impostors in ISRAHELL

its truth no one can deny it

palestinians are not people, are they animals or some kind?

they are people yuu stupid ignorant

  • @SuperPaIabra No such thing as a palestinian Jew, other than a Jew born in the palestinian mandate, but they would never choose to call themselves that. You're either Palestinian, or Jewish.. you can't be both.. that is the way it is looked at.

  • @SuperPaIabra That's a lie you use to make yourself feel better. Everyone knows the Palestinians are not rooted in that soil. Don't get me wrong, their has been generations of Palestinian children born into that land and I would never take that away from them, but Palestinians are just arabs who belong in the arabian penunsula. Either way, we cannot just start shipping people back to the country of their ancestors against their own will but for you to say that Palestinians have "always been

  • @CREATIVE3 how can you be a jew, if you dont even know which tribe you decent from and also a jew was shorth for judean, the palestine could be the well true decendants of the acient jews who were just forced to convert to christianity by the byzantine empire and later to arab by the ottoman empire

we cannot just start shipping people back to the country of their ancestors against their own will ? oh yes but they could massacre and wipe off people against their will, right?

    dont be stupid

  • @CREATIVE3

is in the bible the word(jesus) was sent to the jews for a last change, and they rejected the word(jesus) once again,

    Ephesians 2:11-22

    Galatians 3:28

only the elected jews from all the tribes of israel are the god's only chosen

israel should not exist at all,

  • @SuperPaIabra oh yes, but you can´t know if the information on the galatians or the ephesians are true¡¡¡ well, in this religious thing, you can´t know anything

  • @murmelntrinker then why the damn state of israel exists who knows if is true that god gave that land to the Israelite ?

clearly the torah states that it is a covenant between god and the jews as long as they obey, but they failed

NO HOLOHOAX= NO STATE OF ISRAEL

  • @SuperPaIabra there is wrong

  • @CREATIVE3 they were not uprooted? what do you call when impostors come and massacre you, wipe off the land, using pretext that the land belong to them?

actually the jews are not even god;s people any more, they were in order to promote a world by the word of god, but guess what? they failed every time god gave them a change, clearly god sent the word(jesus) to testify the truth and the church founded on the word(jesus) became the new ISRAEL(figuratively)

  • Most of the land was not owned by the Arab nomads, they are teaching Arabs and Jewish kids lies.

  • @triplecheck4

    Still brainwashed, huh?

  • @triplecheck4 ya....the ignorance coming from both sides was spectacular

  • Arabs for the most part originated in the Arabian desert. They came to Palestine/Israel from the what is today is Saudi Arabia. Israel belong to the Jewish people. The so called 'Naqba' is a creation to oppose the Jewish people's right to their historical and legal homeland. This school obviously does not relay the historical facts but acquiesce to the Arab world false narrative.

    Ronny Germany

  • THIS SUX

  • thanxxxx friend u are so niceee hahahah

  • Wow it just seems hopeless.. The kids all get a long then when they grow up they are stuck on a side.. Seems so wrong the way it happen.. The Arabs get kick out of the homes they where living in for ever because the Jews won the war. It is both of there land they both have been there for ever but one race the Jews where forced to leave because the Romans kicked them out about 2000 years ago. So they re claim there land by killing them if they don't leave. Then the Arabs try to kill them.. SO SAD

  • The Jews were not expelled from the land by the Romans. They WERE expelled from Jerusalem but not the rest of Palestine. Jews had been migrating to other countries for hundreds of years looking for economic opportunity the same as all people. There were Jewish communities throughout the entire Roman Empire way before the destruction of the Temple in 70A.D. Alexandria in Egypt for example had a very large community. Anyway I hope the people can work things out because the politicians can't.

  • 36:28 lol

  • It was interesting watching the Jewish grandmother grill the poor Arab friend of her grandson. She was as unable to disguise her animosity and grievances as the Arab teacher. Neither woman could suspend their own experiences and just be happy that Jews and Arabs were friends. Sad.

  • I was feeling sorry for the plight of the Arabs right up 'till the point where the Arab father of that sweet little girl casually denied his daughter a basic human emotion like love, vetoed the possibility of her ever getting to choose her own fate, then casually threatened her with death if she ever disobeyed him!

How can the Jews possibly live in proximity to a culture so firmly based on hate and death? I am resolved in my low opinion of the Islamic religion, but still want to like Muslims.

  • instead of trying to merge their culture and worse of all religion.

the school should foster the concept of understanding the other's culture and religion and nurture the mutual respect.

this is how it's done in south east asia schools, and we have muslims, chinese, indians, etc.

  • You're EXACTLY the same people, linguistically, genetically and historically. Learn how to live together

  • Dear ellin40, BRAVO ! I couldn't agree more with you. Thanks so much for posting your comment. My heart is heavy with the sadness of HATERED & ALL WARS, that plague our Planet.. I pray for peace. :)

  • All children are born innocent, unfortunatly HATRED is taught by people in their inviorment & those they are exposed to on a regular basis. I know that Islam does mention Jesus in the Holy Quran & they do believe that he was a mere Prophet. It is a shame that they can never tell anyone about his Teachings, because they have no idea. I think the 10 Commandments are a wonderful thing to teach all Children, regardless of their Religion. Thanks PBS for this Wonderful Documentary.

  • honeybrat 2008_ islam DOES teach the 10 commandments! in a matter of fact it is one of the five pillars of islam! you should read more about it before judging!

  • Dear "denzelswifey86",

Where did you get the idea, that i was JUDGING ????? I would like to respong to you by making my point clear . . . .

(The 5 Pillars of Islam) #1, Shahaha:Profession of Faith. #2.Salat: Prayers 5 times a day. #3.Zakat: Giving of Alms. #4.Sawm: Fasting during Ramadan. #5.Hajj: Making the Pilgrimage to Mecca, at least once in your lifetime if at all possible.

Are these NOT the 5 Pillars ? Next, I will post the "10 Commandments"

  • "10 Commandments" #1. I, the Lord, am your GOD. You shall not have any other GOD, but me.#2.You shall not take the Lords name in vain.#3. Remember to keep the sabbath holy.#4.Honor thy Father & thy Mother.#5.Thou shall NOT "KILL".#6.Thou shall not commit adultery.#7.Thou shall not steal.#8.Thou shall not bear false witness.#9.Thy shall not covet thy neighbors' wife.#10,Thy shall not covet thy neighbors' goods. I have another Question on my next post to you.

  • denzelswifey86, Could you be so kind as to direct me, as to where I can find the "Teachings of Jesus" in the "Holy Quran" an I have one here with me, & would like to read this. I know that Islam does teach that Jesus WILL return for the 2nd coming, to fight satan. Knowing this, if I were Muslim, I would want to know why this Prophet is the chosen one, to come & fight for all of humanity?Hmm, interesting questing, huh? :)

  • This was a truly amazing video & at the same time, I was really so optimistic about the outcome & hoped that things may have been a bit different. My heart was breaking towards the end, & I did find it a bit interesting, that no one seemed to ask the children what idea's they had about solving these problems, without any outside influence. I would have loved to hear their suggestions.

  • Oh man that was heart wrenching. Children really true are innocent and it was obvious they sacrificed their own innocence to assume the burdens of their friends, teachers and parents. This documentary is brilliant. It's always interesting to watch children.

  • They need to stop worrying about teaching these innocent kids about their enemies religion and teach them what school is about, teaching Math, English, Reading etc....playing together at recess after lunch.

  • Where the tanks that destroy Palestinian house everyday?

Where the settlers that are taking the Palestinian lands?

    Where is the Jewish hatred?

  • Loved the friendships, Bashar and Assaf, Noa and Rawan. I've a bittersweet cynicism that says these are ephemeral innocent days. Perhaps not. Almost cried when Rawan's father denounced falling in love. One can see Noa's heart break; it's all in her eyes. Rawan's as beautiful as the Mona Lisa--she's accepting yet torn. And Shahaf, who began this journey ebullient and optimistic sees both sides of this coin. I think she's tackling concepts I couldn't handle in high school. Mesmerizing, PBS.

  • Sorry- accidentally hit the thumbs down, meant to hit thumbs up- well said, thank you

  • :) thank you wqqzx74

  • Assaf's grandma lays it on thick, doesn't she? That spaghetti was layered in marinara, meatballs and duress. He's a kid, not a terrorist. Lighten up, grandma.
