  • ok this is a good idea.. except one problem. We have to take our state exams on a computer..where am i supposed to write it on.

  • @ccsmotc Ever heard of a piece of paper?

  • yea well maby instead of some stupid video with no real information you should f oof with trying to skrew what chance kids have today and not have parents lose there kids to your dumb unexplained obviouse activist ,you make money video,f you, your video sucks, even though im willing to believe somewere there is real info on your vid i dont believe you care to represent it,you are probably the irs or some other fed wanting to make more money off peoples children.you dont offer an alternative toSKUL

  • @plantsofthegods -- This is about personal freedom. Saying no to a test is a basic right, and freedom is meaningless otherwise. I suggest you google "alternatives to school". The IRS comment was a nice touch. Good one.

  • @DeschoolingSociety hello, sorry for my rudness, whoever you are you indeed are real therfore i respect that and my reasoning is the reality of it all ,no test ,no grade,no collge,no job,no loan, ect, you go tell it on the mountain right on,but back in reality in usa people lose there kids every day because they refuse to inject there children with viruses for imunization and those kids are not allowed in daycare ,same with milatary property of usa, after 40 hippy is no fun, tuneinturnondropout peace

  • @plantsofthegods -- I accept that apology. as far as the "reality" -- what does that mean? and does it mean that it can't be changed? you could have told African slaves that slavery was a "reality" in the south (which it was -- the economy was dependent upon it, and a sudden change would totally wreck that economy, which it did. I'm not saying slavery was good, just using the argument that "it's the reality".) so -- that argument won't work. do people REALLY need test scores to get a job? no.

  • @DeschoolingSociety sure 2 diferent points wich i have debate so i will adress them sepratly.first i have a six grade or so education.i later in life bored one day did take. the not highscool exam but the othe 6 hour test,i dont remenber what it is called, but it is a high scool test equivelant.im the first to agree with the irelavancy of school as far as any education.i dont believe school is for education.you only get taught basic things that may in fact be a few days worth of learning at best.

  • @plantsofthegods you know i never did a day of homework and never failed a class.i passed every test i have ever been given.i have proven myself smarter than the teachers teaching me speciffically on test.in 3rd grade i spelled shchism and was told i was wrong i flipped out made that b look it up she was wrong.why trust teachersin a goverment aproved school.it is fact there is a profit agenda and regulations.when i was young they gave sliding scales grades based on the #of kids not education.

  • @plantsofthegods schism schism schism,,,,fucking keyboard,haaaa

  • @DeschoolingSociety i feel that most all leraning is at home even if at the sugestion of school most kids have homework and get help from parents.most kids repeat the same information every year.todays kids are allowed to read at babies age.my baby can read is a popular product.i could easily read at an early age and could read colege level before six grade.now i read moluecular biology merc manuals and self taught latin for fun.am i smart?who knows.the iq test i took were never shown to me

  • @DeschoolingSociety so as a grown man i have done what ever i like .i have no real skills.i have no high school or colledge education.i dont even understand what that means becuase the last time i went to anything close to a normal classroom it was six grade.to be fair i would even say 3 grade or less.i was a rebel and was put in a cubicle dunce hat sort of humiliation almost every day for years.i wanst allowed to go play with others in recess.i was created to be who i am today.to say i learned?

  • @DeschoolingSociety so assuming people grow up to be at least as smart as i am then they need to have structure.im assuming lots of grant monies and other loans that most people accept will not be offered to them.i personally havnt had most of the basic opurtunities most others get not becuase of the color of my skin but im not sure that is in fact true.i as stated do not have the skills and understanding that school does provide.there are some things that schools do provide for you.grant mony

  • @DeschoolingSociety im asssuming that by not doing test these kids will not be eligible for basic society kickbacks.it is true.they will not have respect of fellow kids.they will not haver those kids to get jobs from 20 years later.they will not have proof that employers like to have to ensure succes.im not doubting taking any test is against my rights.our goverment is always trying to enforce voluntary test in urine.i say free tast test and thats it.so you know ther goes my liscense for 1year

  • @DeschoolingSociety i cant fathom your comprehension of my coment to relate to the slave trade instead of the well documented day to day REALITY that the world today lives in.yep my opinion is no african slave was extremly ofended.they were born in africa they were in a war mongering tri8be in those days all tribes fought and the strong takes the weak and wemon for slaves.that is reality for all races and civilazations

  • @DeschoolingSociety they got bought and later got taken probably.this was a normal part of the world for all people everywere.the ones that were born in usa into slavery were the same.they knew no diferent life.what your not adressing and i adress in every coment is your ofering people to suffer and or worse for there rights.lets agree it is rights we are debating.the usa slaves were tortured, chased down ,ect suffered greatly during there time of new freedom,or to have.is same with all activist

  • @lja000 -- yes, that's true. that's the next thing i need to work on. the test scores just don't mean anything, but parents continue to accept this meaningless scoring and labeling system their kids are subjected to.

  • I whole-heartedly agree with this, but...the parents are the ones who won't let the kids do this. How many parents have you heard about that have a knee-jerk reaction when their kid brings home a 'bad report', and then takes away their priviliges? It has to start with the parents opening up their own eyes.

  • Um... Why would you refuse to take a State test?

    This is dumb.

  • @Corvus54 because adults chained to institutions and corporations are unable to; because these tests pervert education, are disgracefully inaccurate, impose brutal stresses without reason, and actively encourage a class system which is poisoning the future of the nation.

  • @Corvus54 no u

  • Yes, there would be a lot of pressure put on the students to take the test, so it's more about getting money than what's best for the kids.

  • The music is a little much for me. I wonder how many children actually do this? Seeing how the schools go to so much trouble and expense to have kids do well on these tests so they can get the funding, there's probably a lot of pressure.

  • interesting; certainly would make many administrators scramble!

  • Great.
