The Problem with these cars is that tall people wouldn't fit in it... My dad owned one and he said that he was very uncomfortable when you where inside of it. But its still a beautiful car!

No. But they shared the same rear engined layout. The A110 was derived from the rear engine Renaults of the era, just as the 911 was derived from the Volkswagen.

the rear eangine renaults in the 1950's & 60's were all just vw beetle copies really.

the renault alpine a110 was a plastic copy of porsche's 356, but made from those ranault car parts instead of vw
