@bricutie25 i died my hair dark a few days ago and it is pretty shiney bye its own but i mut oil in it only to my dead ends and it helps my dead ends very well if u have long hair that u straighten everyday then it's ideal i use rusk deep shine oil it smells very good u can get it at ulta or online. hope i helped. :)

Don't use too much oil - highly recommended: Kérastase Elixir Ultime (Oleo complexe) - do not use too much, just a lil bit (size of a hazelnut). And do not apply on the scalp!

That's excactly what i do,(: I put Heat protection (good one, has good smell to) So my hair wouldn't smell like Burnt -.- My hair is thick and redish-brownish... After i straighten my hair i put Shine oil? Like yours and it does work, :) after 8- 10 hours my hair gets oily, but it lastes my day at school :)

Hun, when you put in the oil before flat ironing, it burns ur hair and the oils dissolve w/ the steam the iron makes.. You begin w/ a heat protectant, and you end with ur shine serum..:] This should help ur hair look shinier.

You can get even straighter hair is you actually start from the very bottom and work your way up :]

You can also take smaller sections of hair for better results! :D

My hair is similar to yours, although not as long, and my hair even looks naturally straight when I straighten it.

ahahahaa~intead for using a straigh iron to make your hair straight try and use a Asian straigtner shampoo from GLISS and it make your hair straight without a hair straigtner iron in 48H and its awsome if some of u all have it near your store...buy it i tell u guys its much better then do this all the time...the heath from the straight iron or when u blow your hair can damages the hair actually cuz warm air or this can make it dry and damages it(unless u use a heath spray before use it)^^
