Instead of making fun of her, you need to go to the rock and pray. God is using her to show the world how courageous she is and how she has yet to add more triumphs to her extensive list of accomplishments. Whitney Houston is still one the greatest vocalists... I'm so glad she's back.

My Mom was one who was very meek and quiet after an abusive battered life with a military husband 30 years. A family member told her she was wasting her time going to church, when she responded, so many were amazed. Mom with her quick wisdom said. "I would rather die dead right, then dead wrong, when It comes to Jesus as Her savior." She passed last Nov. and is now with Jesus

I think this arrangement is great, and her voice is wondeful. What a band and what soul...but...is it bad that I like this song and I think the whole God thing and Jesus thing is a whole bunch of crap? The stories are like reading fairy tells. I mean come on if I just made up a story about a snake that talked, people would think im crazy but since it is in the bible is it true and a miracle..give me a break...GREAT TUNE THOUGH!

I wholeheartedly understand your position, but Paul writes in Hebrews 11:1, "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." If you are reading the Bible for historic facts, you are completely missing the point of the story. Rather, focus on how the believers' belief in something greater than themselves helped them overcome obstacles. That, my friend, is what the song is about.

@Benand I feel what you are saying..I used to say things like that to my mom all the time, but once i experienced Christ for myself, faith helps me understand all the stories in the bible and what they mean.
