The letter g can be pronounced in several different ways in danish: a hard g as the g in get, a broad, soft g as the w in walk, a soft g as the y in yellow. That's what I can think of right now, there are probably a couple of more ways.
Besides, I must congratulate you on your ear.
I myself can't hear her singing what you can. Maybe because I'm danish and don't notice those small differences.
I have been to Holland and I notice how hard they pronounce the "G", almost like a "K" in the North. I also watched several Danish films and noticed they can pronounce it in several ways. In any case, I find her performance refreshing and extremely good.I like her ornaments, she delivers a great Rosina, very happy indeed.
What an unexpected surprise! I thought she was a mezzo, bnut she left me stunned at her ornamentations. A very unique timre with a very good technique.
If one is going to add ornaments to Rossini, it would be nice if they were original and not the same ones all the other sopranos add. Also, I don't think the jaw is supposed to move that much singing coloratura.
A really sour comment, that is to no use for anyone. Come again, when you are in a better mood and teach us something of value - about artificial rhumba and how to overdo Händels Mesiah for instance?
Actually...her ornaments are perfectly within Rossini's style. You can look up ornamentations and cadenzas. And, often when looking up an aria like this one, typical ornaments are already marked in the score. As for the jaw... it can move as much as it needs to as long as it is not tense and locked. As long as the jaw doesn't have the tendencey to stick out forward, it can move how ever it sees fit. It's different for everyone as everyone is built differently. I agree with Olfux: take a pill
Absolutely fantastic performancce

This is the voice that MET should have heard long time ago! Such a pity it never happened! Her voice is just hard to come by! Brilliant!

Can anyone with a better ear than mine tell me, what note Inger Dam-Jensen sings at 3:43 ??
Olfux 3 years ago
Yes. It's F _ a very high F;
(One octave above the F on the top line, in treble clef).

@Olfux If I'm not mistaken, she's singing the version in F, so that would make the note a high F.

Very nice performance, fresh! Thank you for posting this Olfux.
I love the way she pronounces 'Lindorro' :}. I also noticed she pronounces the g in giocar very soft, almost like an i.
Is it the way is pronounced in Danish?

Very well sung with pleasing tone and refined technique, in which the ornaments do not overpower the interpretation.
