  • someone had tried the monitors truth of behringer, like the ones of sean tyas? i don't know what is better, the yamaha monitors or behringer

  • @omarrogu Neither, I bought the KRK RP 8's and I am very satisfied, just beautiful monitors perfect for this music, loud as hell if you want them to be. Really good low-end but still crisp in the highs, cheap also, you get alot of monitor for your money in those.

  • @djMusicalporn, and lots of trial and error! :)

  • I DONT REALLY CARE WAT PEOPLE SAY AND WAT PEOPLE THINK OF HIM I PERSONALLY THINK THAT HIS MUSIC IS FUCKIN EXECELLENT AND I HAVE ALSO MET HIM PERSONALLY HES A REALLY DOWN TO EARTH PERSON AND THAT SHOW THE SUCCESS BEHIND HIS WORK

  • @Enibarrio8 No Probs, just remember huge decay/wet and save the channel strip settings after ;) hey Presto Tyas/Patterson Piano preset!

  • @Lima2488 I know im really boring you but can you tell me the full name of the piano preset??

  • @Lima2488 hey mate, i'm having trouble finding the piano channel preset you're talking about. Which 1 is it? Is it in the actual channel strip settings or in the exs24 presets?

  • @kuruptionmusic

    Chanell Strip Settings =)

Load New Midi Strip > Chanelle Stip Settings at the top of mixer > Acoustic Pianos > Pop Piano (Or any Yamaha) > Change up your reverb to what you like > add Stereo Delay > tweak until satisfied.....

You will never get it 100% because he Eqs and Reverb Plugs/Delays Vary alot but this is pretty much it.

... i take it your working on a Lift remix hehe... as am i ;-)

  • @Lima2488 cheers bud! haha i have the parts for the remix comp but I haven't started it yet. Been far to busy :/

  • As someone coming from a background in riff-based guitar music, I've been wanting to learn how to make cool midi riffs, and this video helped me make a huge breakthrough with those bad ass rhythmic staccato synth lines.

  • @DJMusicalporn - From many years of experience and a lot of practice, theres a ton of amazing resources available in books and on the internet

  • I am actually obsessed with labeling ^^

  • Sean Tyas personally is the best DJs, each mixture is a hit really does hope to see you again in mexico

  • This guy has some skills, great video :)

  • wonder how much it costs to work with sean tyas on a track

  • @funkmonkey06 - I doubt he would ever work with amateurs, though It would be free with the established producers he would work with. They would just both get paid by the label that the track gets signed to and royalties

  • @DeanDamman id like to think that if you presented a good idea with a worthy production then you might be able to negotiate a cost. I can always dream though haha

  • @funkmonkey06 haha well im sure you probably could if you gave him an offer he couldnt refuse. money does talk

  • Fun fact: the sample heard at 11:01 was used by Marcel Woods in his track "Don't tar me with the same brush"

  • I started doin some work in FL, thinking about everything about layering etc.. but then i just realized im not good of making music anymore, no new ideas :(

  • @Projective lol DUDE!with thoughts like that u wont get anywhere :/...be positive...i like to think if u believe hard enough u can accomplish what ever u want!so dont back down ever!

  • @Duci1990 True man, if you want, check out Nick Hammer on Soundcloud.. thats basicly the best mixes ive done the last 2 years =P Thx for the motivation!

  • Does anyone know what he does at 8.19-8.30..I think he says Sidechaining or Whatever..what is it ?

  • @cfourchris He adds a reverb. What he does after that, 08.47-09.10 is sidechaining (ducking the volume of a track, usually triggered by a kick drum). Essentially, adding a really wet reverb like he does in 8.19-8.30 makes it sound all washed out and big, so ducking it by sidechaining makes it less sloppy and more rhythmical. Big reverbs, what you asked for - are fun, but they don't fit most genres.

  • @cfourchris google is always useful for finding out answers to stuff!

  • @cfourchris sidechain compression... youtube it. wa wa wa wa wa wa wi wi wo wo wo wo wo wa wa wi wi :)

  • were do these guys learn all this stuff

  • @DJMusicalporn
