Today I listened the CD "Shattered" very nice band...I searched on google abuut them and I was surprised about their story...So sad, they could be a big thing...I think they are now...If you dont have a CD of them...I recommend it. Great revival old punk power pop!!!

i grew up in their scene, remember the accident. my friends were all very close to them, though i never had a chance. in fact, the story became so much bigger than the band that i actually managed to miss ever hearing them until yesterday, and i can't believe how incredible they are! it's truly touching to see how far their influence reached. i thought portland oregon was the only town that had ever heard of them. how lovely that i was so wrong...

On July 20, 2003 the band was in a car accident which claimed the lives of three members. Their touring van flipped over on Interstate 5 just north of Eugene, Oregon while en route from San Francisco to Portland. Jeremy Gage and Adam Cox were thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, Matthew Fitzgerald, died at a hospital. Terry Six and band manager Rachelle Ramos both survived with minor injuries.
