  • Does it have a stylus pen interface ? what is the accuracy of the pen interface ? can you use it as a professional note taker?

  • Behold the reason why IE7 sucks.

  • I have a question. in the upper area is a panel. after a software installation it is not there what is the name of the panel? how can I install s again?

  • is it slow with the 1.33 ?? what is you have XP on it...

  • Can you install windiws 7 on it :)

  • @samoncool Only Windows 7 Stater 32 bit

  • Wow, fast computer for 1.33 Mhz. That must be Linux in disguise. XD

  • @OnlyUseM3Gamers it is possible, see jkkmobiles video

  • I severely hoped you fucked up when talking about the processor and meant 1.33 GIGAhertz. Cause if it's Mhz we have a huge processor problem.

  • so is it fast when you use firefox?

  • can i install windows 7 on this?

  • @OnlyUseM3Gamers you could but it may be a little slow due to lack of ram.

  • dang, you have convinced me not to purchase this...thanks for saving me a few c-notes!

  • @frazierbeyb yeah this kinda turned me away from this thing

  • a stylus is soooo 1999

  • @nya2003 Agreed

  • atom aka netbook processors are so horrible. sure u save money, but in the end its nothing but frustration. and no active digitizer on this or the t91mt. means you will have a frustrating time typing anything without trying to keep your palm off the screen. sure the true tablet pcs are double the price, but they are so worth it especially if you write notes and/or use the pen a lot.

  • perhaps you can use google chrome on it because it's has a better web engine.? Google Chrome should be running very fast and not freeze.

  • Will it bankrupt Asus to reasonably put the N270/280 processor and a matte screen?

    Can't wait for Viliv s10

  • yeah, Viliv S10 will be like $600. you may as well get HP Touchsmart TX2Z for &800.

  • Thanks for the advice, I got MSI WIND U123 for $320 Cda, one of the best electronic I have purchased. Though, the bezel is pretty darn big and the track-pad buttons are not very sensitive, other than those, this netbook is PERFECT!

  • yeah, i had MSI Wind. it was very good. i personally liked it better than ASUS eee pc 1000 he. but in the end i stuck with good old Acer Aspire One. i gave MSi wind to my mother (cause it was pink ;D)

  • could you get vista on this

  • you cna vista or even windows 7 on this computer you cna either buy it with the computer or you can go to the asus website and update the computer if you already have the compter.

  • can you change its RAM(1.33GHz) to a better one? if so, whats the max i coud get for this. dont know much about computer hardware.

  • you moron 1.33 GHZ is no ram! its the cpu

  • Thats why i said i dont know much about computer hardwares. Thats also why im here asking what the hell those things are and which one is worth my money.

  • When they say 1.33Ghz they refer to the speed. What you're looking for is the 1GB of RAM, and yes, on most of Asus's netbooks it is very easy to upgrade the RAM to 2GB, which will mean more capacity to run multiple appilcations.

  • 1,33 ghz is the processor :)) . The ram is measured in megabytes(mb) or gigabytes(gb). This netbook has 1gb ram(1024mb)

  • this is really cool i might get one

  • TBNT

  • NO 3G??!? Comon, that was one of the BIGGEST pet peeves of the earlier versions of the eee was NO 3G or integrated broadband capacity! When is Asus going to get off their duff and integrate, heck people are already hacking them and doing in themselves!

  • I really would like a touch screen, but that's mainly because I want to be able to rotate the screen. I don't really care about the touching of the screen. I'll probably just get the 1005HA.

  • You mean 1.33 Ghz, not Mhz? :)

  • that would be like slower than my... wrist watch

  • I am wondering - when you bring up the "on screen keyboard" with tablet only in use, can you type on it with fingers (like a regular keyboard) or must you use the stupid stylus? so basically, must one either use stylus OR type on its keyboard, or can you put it in "tablet mode" (fold down) and type qwerty style on the virtual keyboard w/ fingers?

dammit i know i've confused the hell out of someone... lol (sorry!) just wondering if anyone knows?

isn't the price point a bit high here?

  • This will be great when it comes out later this year with Linux debian Android.

Forget about Windows 7. Android is going to be a lot better. Windows probably stole most of the neat features in 7 from Android (just like they always steal everybody elses idea instead of developing their own).

Let us finally put Windows to rest so the PC industry can finally become affordable and more progressive. Amen!

  • i am getting one it's cool

  • nice video and overview. I'm thinking of getting one, but as you said, I may hold out for windows 7 . thanks for sharing :)

  • First TEST then make a video -.-!

  • I agree.... the end and the right click is BORING BORING...

    lol...
