I've met on several occasions members of the Alpine Garrison. Most are married with families. The guy who plays Darth Vader for many of the events is a software guy and he loves helping kids. btw, There are groups attached to the 501'st how dress as Obi Wan Kanobe and others. They raise many thousands of dollars for kids and other worthy charities. They do it will full support of Lucas.

I saw this last night in Madison and it was awesome! The Midwest Garrison was there, they gave out free Star Wars figures, I got to meet the director and shake his hand and the movie itself was great. If you get a chance, I highly reccommend seeing it. It'll be worth your while.
I can imagine these guys ganging up on the dude who dresses like Luke, or how about Princess Leah, RrrAahhhrrr.
