I tink we should love and protect all animals not just wolves. Right now theres some animals who really need our protecting because they cant protect themselves against us ..humans.
Its our job to help things that cant help themselves.
Meanwhile rattlesnake roundups and shark finning are still going on completely unchecked and Yellowstone's bison are still being slaughtered even though they're supposed to be protected. Everybody is still too busy griping about the no-longer-endangered wolves to notice.
The thing is that there are those that have the thought process that wolves are represent something evil or wantonly kill. It is ignorant bigotry; it's roots in Christian priests who were afraid of them and therefore preached that they are tools of the devil. Out of petty fear/ignorance came a bigotry that has led to millions of these family-orientated and intelligent animals being killed. Politicians want to exterminate them (Palin supports shooting them from planes).
Jesus never sinned so why did he die? No animal has sinned so why do so many get hunted? God created animals for us to eat. So we hunt them and we can't hunt many ungulate species and not another it doesn't work. For the wolves own good there is legal hunting to ensure the population is strong healthy and sustainable. Poaching is a totally different subject and yes that is horrible and is why populations go extinct or get endangered.

After many studies we now have a great understanding of conservation and that was implemented in the 80's. The Elk herds started recovering perfectly and were finally back to normal and we recieved a small healthy population of wolves but we can't control them so they have populated exponentially each....

Wether you believe it or not the evidence here in Montana is undeniable that we have a plentiful population of wolves and they can be hunted. The original plan called for 300 wolves and 30 breeding pairs for a full recovery. We over 1600. The math is quite easy to see that they can be hunted with out any harm to the population overall.

The major question I have about trophy hunting is `what the fuck is the point?`. When our fore fathers came to north America in search of pelts they killed, skinned and ate the animals. But even then a wolf would have no reason to get killed because beaver pelts were worth more and wolf meat tastes horrible. But now wolves are rarely even a threat to hunters unless attacked first.
For the record, I don't approve of trophy hunting. They shouldn't really be killed except in defense of livestock (including dogs). By the logic displayed in this video, one would assume you would allow a child to be eaten by wolves instead of killing an animal. How about your dogs? Who would you favor in that type of encounter?
Also those hunters will someday get it all back. That is how the wold work and some day animals will kill all humans unless they are innocent. I am not afraid to die like that. Human kind truely deserves it. I am sorry for being so harsh but to me that is the honest truth!

Also those hunters will someday get it all back. That is how the wold work and some day animals will kill all humans unless they are innocent. I am not afraid to die like that. Human kind truely deserves it. I am sorry for being so harsh but to me that is the honest truth!

wolf and bear hunting is pointless and stupid..you dont actually eat those poor animals. Anyway, who we need to blame for those horrors that we just seen is our lame governements that make laws. Do we humans havent destroyed evrything that was beautiful in this world aldready?
