I am looking at doing the same thing. I found a used barely flown with one piece wing think its the same as yours. And want to do a G-26 magneto version and add smoke. Was your bird successful?

@nayrt02 Yes, see my other videos...you will see it in flight...my engine is for sale now, The plane didnt survive flight number 20 :)
