only one speaker? so it's MONO? what's so great about that? what about CHOOSING what you want to listen to? for example , it there's some obscure metal radio station that streams music and the URL for it is 67.192.191.191:6666 (for example).So is there ANY WAY to put that address INTO this radio or am i STUCK with whatever stations are 'build in' (for lack of better word)

In other words , is there a way to listen to what I want from ANYWHERE on the web?if not than this radio SUCKS!

just bought a promate i Radio, very good but cannot access the wi fi , after entering the correct WPA password, radio onky works when close to a non secure Wi Fi !

seems like a real waste of money... if youve already got a wireless network operating that you can access chances are that you also have either a laptop or a desktop to use as well... so why in the world would you pay extra money for a crappy sounding "radio" when your pc can already play all that music in much better quality and without limiting your choice of stations or music formats....

Does this device rely on the manufacturer to support it via a website? That is, does it need to communicate with a web site to obtain the listings and such? If yes, would the device be rendered un-usable if the manufacturer went under?

what good is this if it does not display the artist and song title .................that is a major flaw and make this a useless shitbox.What do i care if i am hearing all these songs and not knowing who the artist is and what the song is called .If you can see artist and song online why the fuk cant we get that info on this .They really messed up making this radio

This is kind of annoying - i want this one - but it doesnt do cds. the quattro cinque DOES but it doesnt have internet radio!! ARRRGG!!!! ah well - ill just get this and a portable cd player to plug in...

Yes, you could just plug one in. Or rip all your CDs to a computer or network hard disk and use the Quattro to stream them.
