@Glenn1967ful Yes. But Hapkido does not work unless you are either much stronger or weigh more than your apponent. I have seen Hapkido black belts go down one by one in full contact matches. Some are accelent athletes, but the training is not realistic.
IDK.. I kinda miss those day before pro mma let the cat out of the bag on what really works.. Once was a time when people would see this and thing wow if I learn this stuff Ill have nothing to worry about.. Then again a false sence of security is never a good thing, even though mma training still gives people that.. some people..
I would love to learn just the takedown, joint and "ki" do part of Hapkido and just focus on that. Kicks and punches are great and all but I would kill to learn these.
Tried these locks before. Not nice at all. Extremely painful. In addition, these move have after move as well. They flow as a set. That consist of many more different move. And end with a finishing move. Which will have 100 percent rate of either killing you or maiming you.
you dont need power to make it work just the way your body moves will make them fall. and if you dont go with an arm bar or joint lock you will be in so much pain either to your arm shoulder-elbow being broken or popped out trust me some guy in my class didnt go with it and let me tell you not a nice site when an arm is broken in 2 places .
y do they keep shouting..jjeeezzz....i;mma go learn judo -_-

Awesome, the closest martial art to a pure self defence system rather than a watered down sport like some MAs have become.

Obviously, its just a demo, don't expect them to actually try to break their joints on a demonstration.
