  • This song remind me of my grandfather who past away on July 03, 2011. This was his favorite song. We will catch him in a room by himself singing this song. Papa I can truly say that you was a blessing and the work you've done has spoken for you.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG. I JUST WISH THAT MY CHILDREN WOULD WAKE UP AND DO THE RIGHT THING..I KNOW THEY ARE GOING TO MISS ME SO MUCH.   • This was the "theme" of my granny's funeral last year. It was stitched in her casket bc she always said that when explaining to us how important it is to live a life pleasing to God. Rest on my sweet girl. I miss you terribly.

  • Thank U so much for posting this! I was so fortunate to see them twice, 1st time in '71 & the last time June '77. They were so great, & i'll always remember those 2 shows both in Milledgeville Georgia..

  • This song was sung at my aunt's funeral this past weekend and it has been in my spirit ever since. I hope that the work I 've done and will do speak for me! Lord I thank you for the life of my aunt, she was truly a blessing to me and many others.

  • @SavedMom25 She (Iola Pugh) sadly passed away  in 1994 aged 68. Sullivan Pugh was 85....Both husband and wife have now gone Home to Glory to get their reward for Work well done!!

  • @alphashed She is now 93 years old and still holding on. ARTRHITIS IS STILL ATTACKING HER, HOWEVER, GOD IS ON HER SIDE. She still has the most beautiful smile. I am writing about her and I am crying because she is truly a wonderful person. She is genuinely sweet, caring, kind, loving. LOVE HER SOOOOOO MUCH.

  • Thought of this song today, and the memories of listening to it on Dr. Alexander Martin's radio program on Sunday nights in Pittsburgh. My mom would tune in every week. She passed in '07 at the age of 98. So glad I have such precious memories to recall.
