I got a sonogram done and they hadn't found anything wrong. The urologist claimed that I had a small cyst but that was completely normal. Pain gets worse with activity such as leaning or bending over, going down the stairs, pulling or shaking of my stick to get rid of excess urine. In addition, pain seems to get worse after sitting for 15 minutes or more. In school it's a prob It's been a month already. Please give me some suggestions of what you think is going on. I'm worried and scared thanks.
i was diagnosed with testicular cancer in july and im only just about getting over it the surgery and the chemo. it is very rare for guys to develop it i think in the UK its about a 2% maybe less, but like the video says it is very curable, i found out i was living with my cancer for about 2 years before i even noticed any symptoms and got treatment, i was one of the unlucky ones not to develop the mass outside of the testicle wall, but inside so it was impossible to tell when checking 4 it.
Guys, I had TC &now do charity work on TC. Sum on here r scare mongering. It's v rare but it's on the increase. It DOESN'T HURT. catch it quick, thn it's highly curable. It's ONLY 99% survival rate AFTER the 5yr monitoring period. Orchidectomy is normally dun, tho now removal may NOT b needed, but more research is being done on that. Hope I've helped :-)
@blackopsfannatic hey man I have the same problem in my left testicle. I just turned 14 but the lump is most likely just to be the ball type thing on the sperm duct, at this age pain is very common im told. I'm far from an expert but I'm going to the gp tomorrow. You should do the same If your still worried
The testes ,always a few degrees cooler than the rest of the body ,are an ideal location for cancer cells, but evidence suggests those cells die when they try to spread to other locations around the body. This leads Professor Robert Getzenberg and his colleagues to believe the cancer cells would respond well to heat treatment in what they call the "Lance Armstrong effect," after the seven-time Tour de France winner who famously beat testicular cancer.
yea dude deffinatly go.. ive been dealing with this for 5-6years now. i was to afraid to tell my family and now it has begun to spread to my other testicule so yea im goin to the doctor tomarrow if you have a small lump its best to take care of it asap instead of letting it multiply into alot more lumps then going all the way up the testicule cord
@fahadmuneeb go to the doctor pal .its not as scary as u think this cancer is rare but u should go to the docs ,go asap as it can spread quickly if left ,but its probably nothing but go just the same
to the previous poster. please go get yourself checked by a doc. it is possible that it is nothing bad, ie a cyst or an infection. but it is possible to that it could be cancer. i was diagnosed with this cancer about two months ago and my symptoms were very similar. only my lump was about twice that size. the most important thing is to get treated as soon as possible. the good news is that this cancer is totally beatable. cure rates are around 99 percent
my 28 year old brother was just diagnosed with testticular cancer and if removing a body body part saves his life than i think thats a huge break through
@1979trr best of luck to you mate ,obviously got great support around him ,similar situatoin here ,people ,please be afraid of the cancer ,you will then be aware by all means but dont be afraid of the treatment ,hope youre brothers fine now ,bye
@nikamanikama sorry mate ,you wont find that many words to say if the doc looks you in the face and tells you youve got it ,think about that ,cant i hope ,not digging at you mate you may be very young or something ,stuff like this isnt funny ,and i have got a varied sense of humour .therare much more enjoyable topics around than this for fun, bye
I'm sorry, cutting off a person's body part isn't exactly a breakthrough. I hope someday we become more strict with informed consent. I just heard about a guy's son that the doctors wanted to amputate his only testicle because of "fear of cancer". They say they biopsy it, but then remove it knowing that it was healthy. They performed a sexual reassignment surgery because the boy was slightly sexually ambiguous.

She got the statistics wrong. It's NOT 25-35 year olds it affects, it's from (realistically) 13-39 it affects. Even preteen kids can get it 2.

@DungeonGFX It's rare in your age group and I had a similar problem. It turned out to be a mere infection. Nothing more.

males born with an undecended testicle are at high risk for testicular cancer. However not many doctors inform parents of that fact......WHY????
