Something that all US citizens should realize is that the police are not obliged to read us our rights when we are arrested. The Miranda warning, "our rights," just informs us that whatever we say can be used against us...etc." Thus, if we say anything BEFORE we have our rights explained, it is not likely that this info can be used against us in court.
