i find it so funny how masters for toss is so different then with the other races. to be masters protoss all u need to do is know how to macro and a-move with your dealth ball and know how do place decent ff which, lets be honest, is not that hard. maximus even had his HT in the same hotkey as his army and headbutted the zerg with them. toss players' multitasking is nonexistant. buddy ur never getting GM bc when i watch someone like destiny whos high masters, hes playing 10x better than u.

@Jastro88 god i hope not. i used to have respect for masters regarless what race they were but now after iv see how meh maximusblack is i lost all respect for toss masters. masters with toss its like winning the special olympics. watch some gm streams, maxiumblack is no where near being that good and only 200 ppl get it. there are thousands of masters that deserve one of thos spots so much more than maximusblack which before i saw his stream, i thought that was dimond play.

@nbaumg Imo: a key aspect of SC2 mastery is understanding the timings and knowing when and where to engage with what composition. Ie: (I believe it's game 10 in this series), Jeff predicts a terran scan seconds before it hits his base. Because he predicted it he was able to avoid showing his prism, and successfully commit to a prism harass. That kind of in depth knowledge and sense of timing is what makes a master player. Jeff has good instincts and good timings so he is successful.

@TheDrHobo Giraffes take a lot more investment to get, both in time and in resources. Immortals are much easier to get and they deny a lot of fast roach rush type plays.

3) Finally, remember to always make probes. I bet you didnt make any during your first push. You should feel comfortable pressing the Nexus hotkey during battle and producing probes.

Anyway, I loved how you took down his expo with a Prism drop while engaging his main army. Great play right there man!

One of the best games i've seen you play. SO FOCUSED! (even if you got supply blocked a few times, but its ok).

1) You needed a 4th but that was too far. You should have taken the gold and put down a million cannons. Its on your way to his base, so camping your army there would have protected it and all your other bases.

2) Colossi over HT. Colossi shoot indefinetely and force corruptors, weakening the ground army's supply. HT storm and then they're useless. Archons arent good vs Roaches.

@salaizrm Mass Phoenix or Mass Blink Stalker will work either way... the Blink Stalkers can be used to punish the Mutas when they try to harass your mineral line by softening them up (as well as making it harder to escape), giving you enough time to get out the needed Phoenixes, and then it just becomes as simple as micro-ing all over his mutas. Not to mention you can then use the blink stalkers for other things once the Mutas are shut down for good.

One tip for ya, and keep in mind this is coming from a lower level player so take it with a grain of salt, but one thing I noticed is you always run your high temps into a battle with the rest of your army. Try to set them on another hotkey, cuz in this game they kinda ran ahead and headbutted the enemy and ended up dying. Still, keep it up man, you're doing a great job! Everyone thumbs up this so he sees it please

I like you and your show, but... Damn Day[9] told me to be positive... uhm... but... Narg! I don't think, that you will reach GrandMaster without analyse yourself and work hard on you in detail. In Europe this would be Diamond. There are a lot of small mistakes, especially with your Macro and timings. Buildings not used 100% (Even Gas at beginning) Overmins, some Supplyblocks, Missing building Probes before you reach 70, etc... I see this in every game. :/

hey something basic i notice, and you probalby know this yourself, is that you don't constantly make probes. i know it's ballsy for me as a plat player to say this, but it's something that i know i do perfectly. i just don't use my warpgates right when each cycle ends and my unit comp sucks and i can't micro for shit. but i'm pretty sure if you keep making probes, you're gonna get your structures out a lot quicker and crush a lot of people because your micro is pretty decent. =]

Your scouting was non-existent, your pylon placement could use more work (you were open to a nydus or drop, for instance), you weren't rushing ground attack 2 which I feel is a mistake (armor is way worse since only a part of your units gain anything out of it at any one time), you didn't transfer probes to your third, you just stood on the edge of the creep at 13:00 and let the zerg 1) see your army, 2) attack you ON CREEP. Why not rush and take out the hatch or back off and fight off creep?

@mau0094 not at all, 4gating is an all in move and if it fails you usually use and you don't go on two base with a 4gate, you don't need a proxy pylon for a 3gate expand, with the amount of differences you must be wood lague to think there is no difference.
