Your video made me want to play the game. I had been putting it off. I just finished beating KH and KH2 and all I can say is THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEO! Without your nudge I might never have had that experience. Amazing game and wonderful song choice. This songs' lyrics have always been one of my favorites on that album, especially the line "the castle floor lies in traps with coiled wire set back decoyed by old cheese." That is the best literary description of a "mouse trap"...maybe ever.

Because the members of No Doubt are from Anaheim and saw firsthand some of the deviations that the Disney Company made from Walt Disney's original vision of Disneyland. Such as, how money oriented the company became under Michael Eisner's reign. (Side note: The opening sounds are from the Matterhorn which many OCers like No Doubt would recognize)

I've actually met Gwen. We grew up in anaheim and when she came back for her solo tour (which will never be better than No doubt, it's too poppy.) And we had a good time.

Hey, this is pretty good. I actually have a hard time finding AMVs with video clips that actually fit the music. Usually it's just a jumble of pictures that only slightly match. This is a contradictory to that, thanks.

You're probably right. But making such a video would require more creativity and A LOT more Disney footage than I currently have.

A Kingdom Hearts video, by contrast, is much easier to make. Especially since you can get the footage from a single source.

MusexMoirai the video does rock. To get the footage for the video with Eisner destroying Disneyland would be very had and few would understand it expect people from the oc. You video conveys the point.

And I still have the fondest of memories about that song, when I saw No Doubt playing it live here in Milan, back in '97. With The Vandals as openers. One of the wildest concerts I've ever been to.

Sorry for the extremely late reply! The concept is hard, but the song fit well enough that the video would turn out fine as long as I picked good clips. I still think the final product could use a little tweaking, but I do like the way it turned out.

Timing. Some parts of the song go by very quickly and if you don't edit the clips right, the video doesn't look good. I also ended up having to use A LOT of scenes.

Fantastic video. Not too much of a fan of No Doubt, but this is a good song. Also want to compliment you on your Remember the Magic KH video, both are amazing videos, although personally, I enjoy this one a little more. ^_^ What can I say? Wow. Thank you for the detailed comment! I'm very flattered you think I'm talented. I tend to think of "Remember the Magic" and this video as two sides of the same coin, since the KH games are both heartwarming and a bit dark.
