anyways the tamahome appear with the mark of ogre is not tamahome but it is tamahomes memories it only have a physical form, from that god pretending he gathered tamahomes memories to create a fake one.. taka is tamahome but his goal of life is to be with miaka thats why he was born in miakas world but he need to complete his personality and to absorb tamahomes memories.. and that makes (tamahome and taka one person) like miaka said in the ending

Meh. This was made to appease the fans who weren't happy with the bittersweet ending. This isn't how Yuu Watase had it, so even though it's nice and happy, I'm going to accept the true ending she had.

That's the problem with OVAs in my opinion, unless the author actually had something to do with it, it's like waving it in their face that you as a fan can end it better.

Tamahome was the manifestation of the memories Taka had to leave behind in order to live in the real world with Miaka.

When he was fused inside of Taka, Taka became whole again, so he was like he was before, a reincarnation of Tamahome, in the real world, retaining his memories. :)

You could say that Tamahome was in fact the ghost left behind in the book, and has finally merged into his real life. ^o^

I think that Taka and Tamahome became one person in the end...they merged together. Tamahome IS Taka, so I can't say I like Tamahome better.

The quality of the OVA's are so much better than the original Fushigi Yuugi!!!!!!! But it still can't compare to the Ayashi no Ceres animes. Those rock. Those pwn these. Go watch them.
