Jill Stuart is British. She was Jeremy Clyde's girlfriend first, til she met Chad. She was also a fashion model and worked through Ford Modeling Agency. She modeled for Orbach's Department Store in New York. She also took over the column "Letter From London" from Patti Boyd who wrote for the column first. She is the mother of actor Patrick Stuart. She re married John Cohen.
Nice looking bird. It's amusing looking back, at Chad's mid 60s cultivated nerdy 'college' folky image .. what with his glasses & his comb-over mop-top front-fringe etc.
mouthing and miming to their hits, notice the lack of wires on the electric guitars, long before wireless guitars, but what a performance by mick, he just glares right into your living room
Jill wasn't pushing her way into the act, Chad asked her to perform with him because he didn't want to go on alone while Jeremy was perusing an acting career. Jill was actually terrified of being onstage.
Chad & Jeremy made some of the best of their music together in the years that followed this, so I wouldn't say that Jill ended their career.
I LOVE Chad Stuart! It's cool he performed with his wife Jill Stuart. Too bad Jeremy was off acting somewhere in England and couldn't perform with Chad. He was also a terrific, yet shy, performer. He was the funniest of the pair when C and J were on The Patty Duke Show. I like this version of Funny How Love Can Be a little better than The Ivy League's version even though they were the ones who wrote it. Chad's SWEET and so is his wife! Thanks for posting!

No the Jill from four Jacks is South African. I think Chad's wife is American. Definately not the same woman.

Mick the Quick! Can someone tell me if the Jill Stuart is the same Jill from that South African group "Four Jacks and A Jill"?

That Chad Stuart is an unlikely pop star. He looks like he could be Lembit Opik's better looking uncle.

I like the Rickenbacker! Chad Stuart rocks! He and Jeremy Clyde were fantastic. I'm glad that they got back together and are still going strong!

Jill Stuart was Yoko before her.
Jill had no business sing this song, which
was song by Chad and Jeremy.
There career ended with this song and
Jill who was also 'pushing' her way into the act. Look the album cover, you would
think she was a 'singer'.
This dynamic, tells a great deal about both men and women, and it is sad!

What a treat to see Chad and his wife. I saw her photo on one of the Vynil LPs I used to have and thought she was a "hottie"
