There is probably way more to this story than is depicted here. If you investigate further, you usually find a much more indepth story than these programmes choose to show. However, the producers know that people will believe their versions on face value without researching for themselves, and it works. She was a young white girl, so she is automatically innocent. Why didn't she stop selling after the first arrest, why didn't she stay away from the environment that encouraged that behaviour?

There is probably way more to this story than is depicted here. If you investigate further, you usually find a much more indepth story than these programmes choose to show. However, the producers know that people will believe their versions on face value without researching for themselves, and it works. She was a young white girl, so she is automatically innocent. Why didn't she stop selling after the first arrest, why didn't she stay away from the environment that encouraged that behaviour?

Rachel was a certified weed dealer who had been busted for it before, and that very week had been totally busted with 6 ounces of weed. thats a lot of fuckin weed, not to mention that she's an ecstasy user. she willingly participated in the sting, she could have taken the jail time totally and utterly without making a peep and if you've ever been locked up you know that. did the crime but did not want to pay, didn't want the conviction so she risked someone else's neck. disgraceful.

I was walking home last night (friday) through the downtown area where I live. Lo and Behold, I see that the police are having a crackdown of the lowlifes selling drugs in the downtown area. I counted five perps at various points along my journey home, in handcuffs being patted down by cops. All of the suspects were BLACK, which does not suprise me, Blacks are the majority of troublemakers in the downtown area where I live. In my opinion, Tallahassee Police Chief DENIS JONES should be sacked, yesterday! He's an absolute disgrace. The good people of Tallahassee deserve much better than this guy. Listening to his pathetic excuses and blame shifting made me very angry. Listening to him call her a criminal made me even angrier. I think DENIS JONES' actions here are more criminal than anything Rachel ever did.
RIP Rachel.

Not to say it isn't sad, or the police are right... But can I mention this was a scared girl, that couldn't deal with the repurcussions of her actions and decided she would rather snitch on her peers? (yes, I said peers, because she was a criminal and so were the two young men) I send sympathy to her friends and family, but suggest that becoming an informant to save your ass is reprehensible behavior. You don't know trust until you're a criminal, and if you break the trust you deal with it.

i see what you are saying, but look at the situation.. i dont believe law enforcement didnt coerce her or threaten her. they put her in way over her head. they basically said you can make this all go away, just do this one thing. who can say no to that? besides, having a few pills and a bag of weed, then suddenly becoming felon, a drug dealer, contemplating going to prison, that would shock me and i would be overwhelmed by those repercussions. they outweigh her actions dramatically.
